  1. We'll keep pulling for her.
  2. Too funny. The interviewer must have perused several Bills message boards because those are the EXACT same things that are being discussed. And I do think he's defending his past record. Also maybe he realizes that his offense sucked because of the coordinators?
  3. No, the guy to whom they are referring is "special," but not in the same away as Gilbride.
  4. Heimerdinger wants to go to Denver. Or at worst he'll end up in KC.
  5. It better NOT be Shoop. Has that guy even been in the NFL since his Bears days?
  6. Sports Illustrated has become so irrelevant in the internet age, thanks to free sports news everywhere, and especially because of morons like Reilly. This hack was trying to convince everyone that the only reason the Bills went to 4 SB's is because it was the worst era of football in the AFC during that timeperiod. Of course idiot boy never bothered to check the Bills' record against NFC teams during that time. And I'm sure it all relates to him being snubbed by one of the Bills, probably Kelly.
  7. Was Henderson anything special? I'm holding out hope for Bates.
  8. Thanks. I forgot about the Cleveland days, and I thought in '93 he just got them to the 2nd round, where they lost.
  9. Never been to the SB? Heck, has he ever made it past the 2nd round of the playoffs? But good point. The only thing that worries me is that, outside of Levy who never won the SB as Bills HC, Shanahan and Belichick won SB's as coordinators. From what I've seen, Jauron has not only NOT won a SB as a coordinator, his defenses outside of 1 year, weren't all that good.
  10. You have anyone better in mind? And with the news about TD being such a control freak, I can't say that McNally was able to do what he wanted, with WHO he wanted, on the O-line.
  11. Exactly, and using the "assistant head coach" BS title thing to do it.
  12. As I've said, I believe SOPRANO'S source when he said that Sherman tried to get more power at the 11th hour, but the Bills called his bluff. I'm sure he told most teams looking for a new HC, who also had an established GM, that he wanted some GM duties, and that's why none of them even bothered to bring him in. But with the Bills he probably figured that he could sucker Levy in relinquishing some power.
  13. McNally can't go anywhere, unless they make him OC. Not even giving him the "AHC" title will work. But if teams are looking at him, it's possible the Bills gave him permission to find a new team. If so, I'm really going to be pissed. Oh and thankfully Olson isn't coming here. He's done nothing in the NFL to warrant making him an OC, IMHO.
  14. I want good coordinators, nay great ones. That's all.
  15. I don't know if I'd say that Capers has been a "qualified DC" for awhile now.
  16. Looking at the stats from Jax' defense when Jauron was the DC, my question is, how in the HELL did he get a HC'ing job the FIRST time? Oy. I'm not liking this.
  17. Considering that Matt Millen is the GM, this proves what? And who DID they hire?
  18. Actually looking at the Bears' roster in 2001-2002, they were really a 4-12 talent team that somehow managed to win 13 games in 2001.
  19. I said that as long as Sherman was NOT the GM, he'd be great here. Then with that more-power move late Saturday, he showed his true colors. F him!
  20. I can see it now... Marv @ 2:30 PM: "Judging by the initial reaction to Dick Jauron being named head coach..."
  21. Bailey looked like she could get her freak on. Anderson would probably worry about you mussing up her hair too much.
  22. The bottom line for me is that I believed that Sherman was the best candidate. Now if Ralph and Marv never wanted him and all this stuff about Sherman pulling a stunt is a lie, I'll be pissed at them (unless and until Jauron proves me wrong, which I HOPE he does). But if it was Sherman, I'll continue to be pissed with him. We might never know though, so I'll just be pissed at Sherman because as I said, I had a feeling this would happen.
  23. It's a promotion, isn't it? And it doesn't appear that Tom Moore is going anywhere anytime soon.
  24. Yeah, and even though I'm not a religious man, you have my best wishes as well.
