  1. We appreciate any "inside info," even if it's wrong.
  2. Actually it was supposed to be Dr. Evil. But six of one...
  3. Turin is the English spelling. Torino is the Italian spelling.
  4. Let's see. Getting 2 of the last 8 points is "slumping," but so too is getting 7 of the last 8 points? Luke DeCock is right!
  5. 20 years, 1 BILLION, dollars.
  6. I'd have Kelly hang-around in a non-coaching role for that. That's more sports psychology than coaching, per se. And again, I don't even know if Kelly WANTS to coach. I don't see why not, the situation with the Packers notwithstanding. I'm sure he'd rather stay in Buffalo, and would rather coach with the Bills.
  7. There are questions as to whether DF is truly a franchise LT or not. I'm not so sure myself, but would have a hard time justifying passing-him-up at #8, especially if Williams, Ngata, and Hawk are gone, as they very-well could be. And if the Bills are sitting there at #8 with DF and Cutler still there, I'd work the phones, even as a scam, to make the Lions believe I'm talking to Arizona or Miami about moving into the spot, get them to bite on trading up a spot for an extra later-rounder, and take DF at #9.
  8. I wouldn't trade Nate for anything but a VERY high 2nd and 3rd rounder that combined are worth the points of a 1st rounder, and really would rather see an outright 1st rounder. I think his being traded could factor into trading up, but again I think the Bills will get an untradeable 3rd round comp pick for losing Jennings and/or Williams (hell, they might get 2 picks!), which means that even if they traded their own 3rd and the Titans' 3rd, they'd still have a 3rd round pick, albet it at the end of the round.
  9. If we're looking at ex-players to be a QB coach, I'd go with AVP. In general, great players don't mak great coaches, and I think the reason for that is that more often than not, their pure talent was enough to get them to their level and they didn't need to rely on technique as much. But whatever the case, it pretty much holds.
  10. Yeah, you have to take the cap hit sometime. It's not like it's magically going to go away. That is correct.
  11. Suffice it to say he's among the elite for a white guy, and especially for a punter.
  12. He's not a player. But what makes him qualified to be a LB'er coach?
  13. If it's not Scottish, IT'S CRAP!
  14. Great. Another "high-motor white guy." Just what we needed!
  15. I forgot to mention to request a paycut, and if he says no, release him.
  16. I'll good job, with a few changes. First of all, WRT any of the UFA's you mentioned, they need to take a reasonable deal or they're gone, and I wouldn't bother giving Jerman a contract offer. I'd also let Shaud walk. Aiken I'm plus/minus since he's a good ST'er, but he offers nothing as a WR. Keep him unless someone better comes along. As for the releases, I'd keep Anderson since it costs more to release him than keep him and he has starting experience. I'd also keep Adams. And I'd add Villarrial as a release. WRT FA signings, trying to get Hutch, Shaffer (if he's truly that good), and Dalton will be nigh impossible. I'd take making a strong push for Bentley and a decent RT, and Ted Washington should come cheap (the Raiders will release him before FA starts, since as has been mentioned, there's no advantage this year in waiting until June 1st).
  17. Probably. If I were him, I'd have done that. Why not? As long as he isn't the OC, I'm not too worried. Besides, who else would you want?
  18. I want more Asian players.
  19. That was pre-salary cap, and when Al had a few more brain cells.
  20. You think Wayne got Janet into it, or vice versa? If anyone, I think Janet is shady and Tochett approached both about it, and onle she bit. Wayne has always been one of the classiest all-world athletes I've ever seen. But that doesn't mean he didn't know about it, thus being an accessory of sorts.
  21. If airports need to rebuild airport terminals, I see this thing going over like a Led Zeppelin. No wait, they were great and successful. Like lead balloon. Edit: Remind self to buy some Boeing stock.
  22. I thought the days of "high-motor white" players was over?
  23. More like, good luck, Art! Having to work for Davis and the Raiders being $30M over the cap!
  24. Sorry, can't say I remember you. Bad time to make a comeback though, if you're a troll.
  25. And here I thought I'd baffle y'all with bullshiite.
