  1. They're still there. Sounds like Marv wants to get more of them and get rid of the low motor black guys.
  2. I'd have understood Moulds' actions in that game if the Bills were losing and NOT winning 21-0, and Eric was wide open all the time and JP was refusing to throw to him and throwing bad passes to Evans. Moulds taking himself out of that game cost them the game. Taken in total (salary), he's gone.
  3. I think re-signing him was important. However I laughed when I read about him taking a "discount" to stay with the Bills. If I'm not mistaken, he's been the highest-paid WR in the NFL the past 5 years, and at worst the 3rd-highest paid (Harrison's and Moss' deals might have pushed them higher). The Bills have never approached him about a paycut in the past, instead restructuring to the point that cutting him this year will give them a $5.3M dead cap hit. So if he refuses to take a paycut of $3M while still having a salary of over $4M, I say thanks for the memories and goodbye. The Bills can lose without you.
  4. Guy Whimper? Sounds like the alter-ego of a Superhero.
  5. Cut me som' slac' jak! Chump don wan no help, chump don git no help. Jive ass dude don got no brains anyhow.
  6. There are guys out there who can fill Eric's shoes. He's not the same player he was 5 years ago.
  7. Pick which side of the fence from which you want to caterwaul, krazykat. Either TD's picks were crap and McNally couldn't make chicken salad from them, or TD's picks were good and McNally sucks. So which IS it? Oh wait, obviously it's that TD and McNally BOTH suck?
  8. The first was a campus-administered one and the story was he had to take a leak during it and finished it quickly. Probably had some coaching for the one at the Combine, but who here didn't take a Kaplan course for their SAT's?
  9. He's saying that Marv and Ralph had faith in Mularkey even though the players didn't, and then he quit. So were they wrong or were they just hoping he'd quit and save them the money, aggravation, and face? I myself don't know, but I'm glad he's gone regardless.
  10. Losman scored higher than that at the Combine. And a scout administered a test that corroborated the higher score.
  11. When you're out of a job, gotta network. Some of the NFL coaches and execs were saying that it's depressing going down to the college all-star bowl games because all these out-of-work coaches are just begging for an interview.
  12. So youse guys knew Tom Brady would be good? Or did this foresight only apply to Mike Williams?
  13. The new "Flying Elvis" logo isn't much better. But my favorite line is from Larry Czonka, who said that if he knew that thing on the side of the Dolphins helmet WAS a dolphin, he never would have played for them.
  14. The players who are at a different level are Bush, Leinart, Young (at least he was and should still be), Cutler, Williams, Ferguson, Hawk, and Ngata. After these guys, the talent drop-off noticeably. So Ngata is no more sure of being there, ESPECIALLY if Young falls out of the top-7, than any of the other guys I listed. The Bills have to hope Young remains a top-7 pick and/or that someone makes a sudden rise to the top.
  15. The difference also is that the Bills' smaller DL back then was in a 3-4 alignment, which meant 3 DL at the LOS. The cover-2 will be a (I assume) 4-3 alignment with 4 DL at the LOS, making it harder to run against.
  16. Moulds yes, but Big Mike? Don't make me laugh. He'll be lucky to make over the league minimum in his next job.
  17. Do they still do that "Scared Straight" program where they take JD's to prisons and have inmates talk about getting sodomized and beaten up almost everyday? Seemed to be a successful program from what I recall.
  18. If Young's accuracy and throwing motion are so poor, how'd he complete 65% of his passes for over 3,000 yards?
  19. Not everyone's ass is right ABOVE their chest, you know.
  20. They're saying that Davis is a WR in a TE's body. I'd try playing him out wide and Everett in the slot. Again that's IF the other players are gone, they can't move up or down, and they've addressed the lines in FA.
  21. Actually I'll add Vernon Davis as a top player. There were concerns about his height, with some thinking he was 6'1". He actually measured 6'3-3/4" and 254#! If he runs fast (some reports have him at 4.40!), he'll be a great prospect.
  22. Looking at his stats, he didn't have much of a year ANY year. http://www.nfl.com/players/playerpage/302182
  23. And after that, Elvis left the building.
