  1. I find that those who claim he's cheap can't get the pre-90's Ralph out of their heads. Admittedly he was cheap back then, but since the late 80's, he's been spending a lot of his money and annually the Bills spend to the cap limit. On the other hand, some think he's "cheap" because he doesn't hire $5M a year coaches to run his team. Nevermind that there are a LOT of these types of coaches who haven't won a damn thing.
  2. They would, if he dies and still owns the Bills.
  3. That's mighty big of you. Hey, new money is just as good as old money. And it smells nicer and isn't all wrinkly! Kind of like the difference between BTG and RW.
  4. Yeah, come on Ralph! Stop holding the Bills down! Start gouging fans for everything to make yourself richer and to stop whining about the money you're NOT seeing from owners who have benefitted from your largesse/vision over the years. Sell the naming rights and pocket an additional $1M a year, instead of having the stadium named after you, which was done by someone else. Stop being cheap and spending to the cap limit and hire $5M a year coaches because they ALWAYS win.
  5. You obviously don't know much about Golisano. For starters, "Blase" is his real first name and Thomas is his middle name. Second of all, he plays tennis with the Wilsons and I even think he played against Ralph's wife for a charity event. He's DEFINITELY "Ralph's kind of guy," especially since he's got the money to buy the team and the desire to keep it in Buffalo. And I suspect Ralph will end up selling the team before he dies, to avoid the estate tax issue/headache for his daughters.
  6. It's more like $16M.
  7. This is based on...you having read it fully, owning a multi-million dollar company, and running a pro football team? I hope you're right and Ralph is wrong, Bill. I really do. But...
  8. There was a LOT more to Ralph's interview than what the sensationalistic media showed. Ralph knew that there wasn't enough time to properly vote on the CBA and after readind it, he says it's a bad deal for smaller markets. Be embarrassed at YOURSELVES for believing what the media feeds you.
  9. http://www.democratandchronicle.com/apps/p...RTS03/603100376 Great. Desperation pushed through what could be a bad CBA for the majority of teams.
  10. That's what makes it even MORE impressive! He's in the top-400 richest people IN THE WORLD, and would be the 4th richest NFL owner.
  11. What about the Sabres? They weren't a money-maker when he bought them, but thanks to recent events, they are now.
  12. If anything, he may have to sell his majority share of the Sabres.
  13. Golisano is worth 1.3 BILLION dollars?
  14. As long as it's NOT the Bills, I couldn't care less.
  15. The wife and I watch it because it's after "Lost." It's alright. My guess is that since the hot ex-wife/Dr. chick is a hero and the Kids are a focal point of the story, it ends up being humans and alien-humans against hybrids ultimately. And to think, one of the Hardy Boys came up with this story!
  16. I don't see the Browns or Cowboys being playoff teams any faster, and McGinest is coming close to the end of the line. He should take the best offer given that, and since he's won 3 rings.
  17. I think Dallas will make a push and between them and Cleveland, will outprice what NE wants to spend. In any case, they're both likely gone from the Pats and that hurts them a lot.
  18. My bet is he ends up with Cleveland. Crennel's there and they have tons of cap room.
  19. Would YOU ever vote for something or sign something that was just "presented" to you, without reading it fully first? I know I wouldn't.
  20. Ralph didn't name the stadium, much less after himself.
  21. Yes because I want things explained for me, instead of reading it myself. No one ever misrepresents things. BTW dave, I can explain to you how you can buy the Brooklyn Bridge from me.
  22. It's not a matter of "balls." With every team getting $8M more in cap room, there won't be as many FA's as before. You cut Eric, who do you replace him with, and will he be (much) cheaper?
