  1. Kendall wasn't released.
  2. He ran a 4.97 40-yard at the Combine.
  3. Wow, what a game! The game-winner with 5 seconds left!
  4. He's had some run-ins with the law.
  5. It would "ease [your] furry?" Is that like throwing a hairy?
  6. I checked snap.stats.com and they didn't have a stat for passes dropped. I wish they did so I could verify how bad his hands are myself. Not that I don't trust you guys...I just don't trust ANYONE!
  7. Yep, that's what I've been saying. And Williams' character problems are a MAJOR red flag.
  8. Looks like the Bills ARE gonna be a running team.
  9. Most reports I've read say that this is one of the weakest drafts in memory. That doesn't mean there isn't good quantity, but there's not a lot of quality.
  10. LB'er is the next deepest, but again overall this is one of the weaker drafts in recent years, especially at CB.
  11. Stop looking through rose-colored glasses, BADOL!
  12. No one would give up 2-1sts, but 1 is reasonable. And the draft is weak this year for ALL positions. Outside of the top-10 spots, there's little else outside of DT.
  13. I didn't see that LP put Hartwig on ANY list. I got my info on Hartwig several weeks ago (where and when did LP put out his list?). And no Atlanta fans were crying over losing Shaffer. Why didn't Atlanta try and keep HIM, if he were so good? Hartwig is neither unproven NOR a scrub. Same with Gandy, whose problems in Chicago were more due to injuries and lack of experience than anything else. Preston would be largely unproven, yes. Besides, who else is out there? And a rookie center wouldn't exactly inspire confidence.
  14. Chicago's O-line and offense weren't exactly lighting-things-up. And as I said, Gandy was decent at LT but is a natural guard. And Preston showed promise when he played. He needed to add strength, which I'm sure he worked-on over the year. Would Shaffer or Bentley, at twice the price?
  15. You're right, he was a starter.
  16. Good god! A 5-year $23M deal for a guy who was a BACKUP last year?
  17. With Culpepper, like with Brees, it's caveat emptor. There's a good chance he's not ready for the starting of training camp, and his performance BEFORE getting hurt last year was lousy (1:2 TD:INT ratio).
  18. "Brutal?" Hartwig is a good, young, up-and-coming center. Gandy was decent as a LT and would make a fine LG. And Preston would be better served at this stage at OG than center.
  19. As ar as I know, Brees hasn't signed with anyone, isn't from NO or Miami, and has never been linked to any particular team. So because Saban flew to Alabama, that's the RIGHT thing to do? Did he meet Brees in the doctor's waiting room, or barge into the examining room? Betley is from Cleveland and publicly stated that he'd like to play there. I said Ashworth first. I only mentioned Runyan to show that if the Bills were interested in him, it was to play RT, which means that Peters would be playing LT.
  20. ProFootballTalk.com has been wrong more than they've been right. It should be called "ProFootballStuffwehearormakeupanddonttakeaccountabilityfor.com."
  21. Relax. Bentley was a nice dream. But all indications were that he wanted to go home to Cleveland, and they also had the money to pay him. As for Shaffer, the Bills were never interested in him. Remember the reports that the Bills WERE interested in Jon Runyan? Well he plays RT, so the plan is obviously to move Peters back to LT and get a RT. And then go after Hartwig at center, move Gandy to LG, and play Preston at RG.
  22. He'll be a replacement for Neufeld. But his signing would basically end the speculation that the Bills will take Davis with the 8th overall pick.
  23. What's was funnier was hearing Pats fans saying how they SHOULD have faced the Steelers in the 1st round, and that they would have won their 3rd consecutive SB.
