  1. It's a bogus report.
  2. So Culpepper=Communist?
  3. I think Bentley will help them, but Shaffer might turn out to be a downgrade for them. Jurevicius isn't a #1 WR so they downgrade there as well. On defense, I can't say what Fat Ted has left. I thought that the Bills could get him for $1.5M a year and that whatever they DID get out of him would be gravy, but I can't see hom getting $3.5M and earning it. McGinest still has plenty left in the tank, unless you believe that the Patriots always get rid of their players just before they hit the fan.
  4. Gee, when did TSW get taken-over by teenage girls?
  5. Funny. I thought that Bernard was ~330# and Picket was ~290#. I just looked it up and Bernard is 293# and Pickett is 310#. That would make sense as to why the Bills are looking heavily at Pickett, i.e. since Marv said that they wanted a wide body next to Tripplett.
  6. Wow, I guess I was wrong that he wouldn't receive that much on the market. Gotta love that new salary cap!
  7. Vernon Davis is NOT hype.
  8. I doubt the Saints pass-up Ferguson at #4 if they trade down with the Jets, which I see them doing. They need to protect Brees.
  9. If Royal is REALLY as good a blocker as Marv said, I'll be very happy with this signing. Blocking has been a problem for the Bills and anything done to improve it is a good thing. Now if they could just ugrade the FB position and the OL!
  10. Why should Moulds be cut today? Was he also due a $5M roster bonus tomorrow?
  11. So basically we have no objective way to measure O-linemen. In any case, I think Shelton has proven to be a lazy, unmotivated player who has underperformed. And he committed 9 penalties last year, which CAN be measured.
  12. If what I'm hearing that he refused even a restructuring, which doesn't take any money out of his pocket, if not put more guaranteed money INTO it, then I have even less sympathy. Again like I said, Eric should have been spending his off-seasons in Buffalo working with his QB's. Remember the workout in Cali with RJ that was supposed to happen but didn't?
  13. Reports are that the Pats wanted Joe Jurevicius, but he signed with the Browns, so there are no Givens (ha, ha) when it comes to who wants to play where. The Eagles will release TO today and will then need a WR, and they're willing to pay top dollar for one, even an aging one, whereas the Pats aren't. That would be MY bet where he ends up, IF the Bills let him go.
  14. Moulds took himself out of the game. With him in there absorbing coverage, Evans was on-fire. Sure there were other reasons, but something like that should NEVER happen. And again as I said, Moulds could have used ANY off-season, most notably last off-season, to work with his QB's, but he never did. So if he wants out, let him payback his bonus and he'll be free. Otherwise the Bills will decide when and/or where he goes.
  15. So because they're "fantasy crap numbers," they're wrong or less believable? Again this is the ONLY site I've seen where they do this. If you've got another, let me know.
  16. I would hope Eric has a BETTER plan than joining the Pats and thinking that that's his ticket to the SB. Not gonna happen.
  17. I'd have more sympathy for Eric if he: 1. Weren't a waste of space for his first 2 years in the NFL. 2. Didn't show up every other year (and don't give me the QB excuse, since he had a breakout year in 1998 with Flutie, but followed it up with a sub-1,000 yard year the following year, AGAIN with Flutie). 3. Hadn't signed a contract 5 years ago that made him the highest-paid WR in the NFL to date. 4. Had taken a paycut at anytime in the past. 5. Came up to Buffalo to workout during the off-seasons with the QB's, particularly JP last off-season, even though Lee did it. 6. Didn't pull that stunt in the Miami game, that cost them the win. The Bills owe Eric nothing and he owes them nothing. But the Bills own his rights.
  18. So...how MUCH space do they have left?
  19. If he pays back the bonus? They shouldn't, like the Skins didn't with Arrington.
  20. You got a better site? This is the company the NFL uses.
  21. Let me ask you this, DCM: what OTHER LT is out there for the Dols to sign? There wasn't/isn't one. Personally I'd take someone healthy right now.
  22. Not to mention the NFL created the "G-3" fund because Bob Kraft was making a deal to move the Pats from Mass to Hartford, CT, a small market, that would have screwed owners out of TV money (when the next round of talks happened), but which still would have lined Kraft's pockets with "local revenue." If only they'd waited a few more months for the Hartford deal to blow up...
