  1. I was just trying to say that IF they were to take the plunge and build a new stadium, a domed one would have to be the way to go. And making it more family-friendly would also have to be the plan. I dare say more people in WNY benefit from the Bills than those other things. Beer at an art museum, symphony, or in the library doesn't go over too well.
  2. How much do you think naming rights will bring in? I say maybe $2M at most a year.
  3. Sorry but a domed stadium just makes sense. Forget sentimentality because it could happen that instead of being nostalgic for the days of open-air games, we'll all be nostalgic for the days when the Bills USED to be in Buffalo.
  4. This is not a post advocating the taxpayers pay for a new stadium. However the thinking that just because IN THE PAST Ralph made good money from the Bills, it doesn't follow that IN THE FUTURE he will still continue to do so. I mean take a look at this year. Prior to the new CBA, the cap was at $94.5M. After the new CBA, it's $104M. That's an increase of $9.5M. What changed? Nothing in reality. Ralph isn't making more money and he has the added burden of having to pay $9.5M more to players while taking in the same as before. So this is a pre-emptive strike.
  5. Actually both stadiums are owned by their respective cities. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cleveland_Browns_Stadium http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lambeau_Field
  6. And WHO do you think paid-for these stadiums?
  7. Yeah, that bastard should have moved out of Buffalo DECADES ago and spared you his whining.
  8. Does anyone have a link to that article that talked about how Moulds has shown a trend to not being able to get open anymore and is thus not a vertical threat? Thanks in advance.
  9. Speaking of which, wasn't Wegmans responsible for the Bills training camp getting moved to SJF college? Then they inexplicably pulled out. What happened?
  10. I agree. A 5th rounder is jack.
  11. I doubt Mike Williams had anywhere NEAR the numbers Justice did. I'm still amazed at 39", which is great for a CB, much less a 320# OT!
  12. I'd rather get the 1st pick in the 3rd round than a later pick in the 3rd round. Wouldn't you? And there's no way the Texans are giving up their 2nd round pick, which is the first pick of the round, and, you guessed it, essentially a late-1st rounder.
  13. Well that depends; what was his 40-time? Well if that's all he's being signed to be, he should be fine. Assuming his off-field problems are behind him.
  14. The outtakes were hilarious as well.
  15. LOL! Actually the Bills wanting one of the Texans' 3rd round picks makes me feel better about the potential trade. Essentially it would be a late-2nd rounder.
  16. Warfield is no great shakes.
  17. Yeah, it's not like he spends to the cap limit every year.
  18. The Eagles need Moulds a LOT more than they think. Without him, they'll look as good as they did LAST year after TO was suspended. And they're easily still going to be bringing-up the rear of the division again this year.
  19. Anyone have any links to what the CBA entails specifically WRT revenue sharing? I had an argument with someone who claimed that the top-15 teams would be bankrolling the ENTIRE $850-900M the players would be getting over the next 5 years, while I said that at best it was going to be $30M a year.
  20. This is NOT a hard concept. Moulds is due a $1.1M roster bonus at the START of training camp. So that's probably the "deadline" and is 4 months away from today. He'll either be traded or kept UNTIL just prior to that date.
