  1. It does, as evidenced by the Bills and their 28 PPG offense failing to win a SB.
  2. Oh, of that I have NO doubt.
  3. Like...whom? Throwing out a nebulous "anyone better..." doesn't really help much. Again, WHAT ROOKIE LT did you want to see protecting JP, after Ferguson went off the board? Also, don't you think Gandy could be better without a scrub like Bennie next to him?
  4. Good call about Nate. Can't talk about DB picks since they've been hits (can't call a 6th rounder like Thomas a "bust") and have been needed. The Bills have actually drafted OL in pretty much the same rounds over the same timeperiod.
  5. I asked this in another thread. What rookie LT did you want protecting JP's blindside, outside of Ferguson who was gone early? The Bills addressed OG and OC in FA.
  6. The addressed it over the off-season. Fowler and Reyes are upgrades to what was there before. And what rookie did you want protecting JP's blindside after Ferguson was gone?
  7. Jean-Gilles was falling as of late.
  8. Let's see. There was Kevin Thomas, a 6th rounder in 2002. Then there was McGee, a 4th rounder in 2004. And Eric King in the 5th last year. That's a LOT of high wasted picks on some bad players!
  9. I give an F- to instantaneous draft grades. Notice how NO ONE goes back and grades THEIR previous draft grades?
  10. Cool, that means it's a GOOD draft.
  11. I'm including endorsements. I'd say that $16M is the minimum he lost just from signing bonus and first year salary alone.
  12. Marv said a couple days ago that the guy they wanted would be available well after their 8th pick. Huff was projected as a top-10 pick. To me that says that Whitner was their man all along, not Huff.
  13. Uh, since he just DUMPED Milloy, don't you THINK he's saying that Milloy is no longer a top safety? Players DO get old and decline, you know. Still not sure about the Whitner pick, but I like the McCargo pick.
  14. He's lost WAY more than $10M! He lost out on a full year of NFL pay as the #1 overall pick, and he lost out on becoming the #1 pick. I'd say he lost $20M at least. I hope taking ballroom dancing and losing in the national title game was worth it.
  15. True. It's the same ones who claim Wilson is "cheap" when he spends over $30M on players every year than he is REQUIRED to do.
  16. The Broncos traded their 4th pick in the 3rd round.
  17. And I can ONLY assume the Bills figure they have all the pieces along the O-line and D-line, and that they couldn't find anyone to trade with for close to value.
  18. Chris Brown, editor of the Bills Digest has been in the Bills' "War Room" with Modrak, Levy, Jauron, and Wilson. His last post was at 12:35 P.M. saying "some oohs went up...for that [Vince Young] pick." Nothing since. I wonder why?
  19. What kind of a moron thinks that the OWNER made the pick? Unreal.
  20. It was funny to recently hear Polian talk about how the Colts weren't interested in Lendale White because they "didn't want a big running back, they want a good running back."
  21. Any relation to Derek and the Dominoes?
  22. Bush will have to accept a slotted salary, that will undoubtedly be LESS than what he/his agent(s), left on Houston's table. Dumbass move by him/his agent(s).
  23. Is that a known phenomenon, i.e. that people enroll at a school based on whether one of their football players won the Heismann?
