I'm figuring that the NHL will want to start the CF's on Saturday, for national exposure. So should we be rooting for the Devils to extend the series with Carolina and hope they both tire eachother out, or do we want Carolina to end it now, so as to give them and the Sabres virtually the same amount of layoff time?

Culpepper looked horrible last year BEFORE getting injured. And when Brad Johnson came in, the Vikes' offense looked MUCH better with the same personnel. Given that and his horrible injury, I just don't see him returning to the days when he had Moss and Scott Linehan as his OC. Speaking of Linehan, he was the Dolphins' OC last year and did a great job for them. Losing him was huge, and coupled with them hiring Mularkey to replace him, it's a HUGE downgrade for them. Then add the QB situation (Culpepper on the downside, Harrington a scrub) and losing Ricky (half the Dolphins' rushing production last year), and they should be worse, not better.

The Sabres will be fine. The series ends no later than game 6 in Buffalo.

I agree to a point, although I also agree with those who think that the extremes make a player standout. I heard Simpson scored a 10 (speaking of his uniform number HD...) on the Wonderlic, which is an extreme and makes him seem dumb. I hope that's not the case at all, just cause for concern (and possibly a reason he fell to the 4th).

Only 2 teams have ever come back from an 0-3 deficit and I believe neither of them won game 3, which most say is the pivotal game of any 7-game series.
