  1. Someone is a legend in his own mind.
  2. Actually that play came down to the holder, Frank Reich. He didn't get the laces facing outward, a la "Ace Ventura." Had they been outwards, the ball would have turned back inwards and gone through the uprights.
  3. Any stats on how many passes Nance has dropped in OTA's? Oops, what am I asking?
  4. The Patriots have shown interest in a lot of players, but for the minimum, and as a result, most have signed elsewhere. I think that in the past, when they had the coaching, I'd have trusted their judgement. But after last year and with what they pulled with Vinatieri, I'm glad they're sticking with their "we won't pay a lot for players" attitude, and will enjoy watching them become a shell of their former selves over the next few years.
  5. Thanks Dibs. You've succeeded in turning LD's idiotic "parrotting" mantra back on him.
  6. Graham isn't the type of TE the Broncos want. So I seriously doubt the Patriots will end up with Lelie. Unless they trade him to a team that DOES want a blocking TE, and who has a receiving TE to trade to the Broncos.
  7. The fool has spoken. Sorry but Ben Roethlisberger trumps YOU. Hopefully you'll figure that out some day, and you'll get over Nance sleeping with your sister, which I imagine is close to the underlying reason why you have something personal against him. Oh yeah, and the Steelers took WR's in the 1st and 3rd rounds of the draft. But don't let that fact get in your way.
  8. Big Ben Roethlisberger finally says something about Nance: FWIW.
  9. I thought BA would be a good pickup. Just goes to show you why I'm not working for the NFL.
  10. Gotta start somewhere. And playing at a big school helps. Just ask Jason Peters.
  11. I wouldn't go that far, but I'd say that Wilson could be like a David Givens-type of WR. Givens never put up huge numbers, but he absorbed coverage.
  12. Given his age and time in the league, it's expecting a lot of him to last a whole season anymore. I say get on with the future.
  13. With Villy missing so much time, I wonder if the handwriting is on the wall for HIM as well?
  14. I think he was a no-show at the OTA's BECAUSE he knew he was getting released.
  15. When someone says that, I say "when were you EVER 2nd best in anything, much less 4 years in a row?" Shuts 'em up every time.
  16. Good. End this charade that he was still #1 on the depth chart.
  17. Well that's the simplistic view of things.
  18. If anyone can "replace" Moulds this season, it's George Wilson. Great size (6'0" 210#), 4.5 speed, dedicated, and catches everything in sight, plus he has his rookie year behind him. Maybe next year it's Nance.
  19. Praise be to Allah! Oh, wait!
  20. I don't. Nall has nothing special about him. No great arm strength or mobility. And I agree that it's a red flag that the Packers spent a 1st round pick on a QB with him already on the roster.
  21. The Atlanta receiving corps was nothing great and actually got WORSE last year without Price. Plus Vick is a lousy passer. And Bledsoe only had 1 season with Price. And without training camp and pre-season, a WR can't learn the entire offense in a week.
  22. The Bills filled a lot of needs. Maybe not with the high-priced guys, but with better players than what they had. And Moulds is definitely on his last legs. His YPC average has been declining steadily for years now.
  23. We don't need oft-injured and therefore underproductive TE's. Euhus caught 14 passes for 115 yards and 2 TD's in his 2 years in Buffalo, in 23 games played. That's a little less than 2/3 of a catch for 5 yards a game.
  24. Wait a minute Scraps. You think that Price's $1.4M could have been put to use to getting better players, but keeping and carrying Moulds and his $10M cap hit would have been the better option?
  25. It's not so strange. Price was NEVER a #1 WR, but thought he was, and was traded for and paid like a #1 WR. So when he saw mostly double-teams that he couldn't beat, his numbers dropped to the level of a respectable #2 WR, which is what he'll be in Buffalo. As for Dallas, he joined them a week before the season started. No time to learn the playbook, much less make enough of an impression to get onto the field and have plays drawn-up for him
