    the length of the contract. I'm sure their agents are demanding a 4-year deal while the Bills probably want the max for each (which I forget, oh wait that's right, 6 years for Whitner and 5 for McCargo). I expect 5 year deals for each by no later than tomorrow.

    I think McCargo signs in-time for camp and Whitner signs Saturday morning (in another thread I said tomorrow, thinking today was Friday). The Bills' 1st pick ALWAYS seems to miss at least the first day of camp.

    I think the success on the opening drive says something about the effectiveness of scripting and I hope the Bills continue to do that. However I also hope they have a clue about what to do AFTER the 1st drive.

    I think that makes sense, but I also think he realized that he was a lame duck coach and wouldn't get any decent assistant coaches, which would sink him and make him look even worse if say, he got fired mid-season. However I still cannot forgive him for the lousy play-calling after he took-over for Clements.

    Doubtful. Once a player gets a taste of LT and potential LT money, they never want to move. I see Gandy as gone next year because he'll want way more than the Bills want to pay, and won't want to move to RT.
