  1. BTW, I heard King left with back spasms. Not really an injury per se so my original post still stands!
  2. I'd LOVE to see more draw plays.
  3. He already DID that, hence the reason he's coming here. Hard to find a solution when his doctor isn't taking it seriously. A lot of times it's passed-off as "you need more sleep." Such is that case in the days of managed care.
  4. How much do you figure? Maybe $2M a year? I think that's the high-end. And while it's something, it's not going to be the difference between getting revenue-sharing and not.
  5. Yep. Sometimes it just works that way. But the guy made gobs of money so that's a nice consolation prize in any case.
  6. I thought that well-known. When the Rich Products' rights ran out in 1998, Ralph said he didn't want to cheapen the stadium by selling the naming rights again. Personally I think he's waiting for the team to become good again before he sells them. They're not worth much right now with the team playing like crap, but if they become good again, the rights will be worth a LOT more.
  7. He likely won't have any choice. I'm sure one of the qualifiers for revenue sharing be that the team's stadium must have their naming rights sold. And I think that's a reasonable request.
  8. I heard an interview with him on the DP show on ESPN radio. He sounded mature and realized he was a bust. Kind of felt sorry for him, although with the money he made, that faded quickly.
  9. Their offense will without Jimmy Smith and Fred Taylor slowing-down, not to mention them losing some O-linemen. Defensively you think they'd be fine.
  10. I didn't know that. I hadn't heard a word about it anywhere.
  11. I think the QB thing ended when Holmgren and Wolf left. They were the ones responsible for Brunell and Hasselbeck. The trend seemed to have continued with Aaron Brooks, but that proved to be a flop.
  12. Okay...the SECOND best thing about yesterday...
  13. I'm hoping the seeming lack of a pass rush is the ends playing vanilla and not doing much TO get pressure. I also hope Spikes is back for the opener. As for the offense, I say go 3-wide, spread the field to give Willis more room to run, and let JP wing it downfield to keep the opposing defense honest. With that, the defense, and ST's, the Bills should be alright.
  14. Didn't Mularkey admit to it, or maybe not admit to it but basically SHOW everyone, that if something worked, they didn't go back to it and saved it for some later date? I seem to recall something like that.
  15. Did the hold start in the field of play?
  16. No, what the Bills were building is starting quality through FA and the draft FIRST. The depth will come later.
  17. I'm hoping that with the lack of PT and looks, Nance flies under the radar and the Bills can stash him on the PS. I still believe there's something there worth developing and that he just needs a year under his belt.
  18. I read from a couple people saw the game that the Bengals played prevent on that last TD drive. If so, that leaves me less impressed with his performance, although I'd still have to rate him higher than Holcomb.
  19. Jauron being more concerned with the fumbles, when JP doesn't have a history of fumbling, than the INT after pulling Holcomb last weekend after HIS INT, leads me to believe that the INT was not so much JP's fault as they're letting on.
  20. Jauron is an offensive coach for the Bills?
  21. A couple things. First off, Willis was dehydrated/vomiting , which explains his lack of stamina. Second of all, the INT was Reed's fault, as per Tasker and Marshall Faulk, who were analyzing the play after it happened. JP took the blame for it, but he did it so as to not throw JR under the bus. Lastly, WRT the fumbles, JP was sacked 26 times last year and coughed it up once. And I heard he had NO time on the 2nd fumble. Sure you don't like to see those plays, but given his history, I doubt it's a real problem.
