  1. The only defense I'd make of his fumbles, actually his 2nd fumble, is that in a real game, I doubt he'd be passing the ball with 30 seconds left in the 1st half and the Bills down by 7. At least I'd hope. And I think that the INT was a learning experience for JP. Get 'em in while it doesn't count, I say.
  2. Not necessarily. It all depends on how much is being spent on the cap.
  3. I can think of several reasons why DJ and JP would lie. For the life of me however, I cannot think of a single reason why Faulk would lie. I guess he could like JP more than JR but that seems unlikely. I'm not overly worried about the fumbles. It will bear watching over the course of the season, though. As for unwillingness to throw a ball away, I don't see that as an issue.
  4. You have that backwards. The tee size was reduced in 1991 and the kickoffs were moved back around 2000.
  5. "Slow?" Well maybe. He didn't eat all day and threw up on the sidelines later. He no feel well.
  6. Phew! And for a team as ignored as the Bills, it's amazing the press this got. Then again, I guess it looked bad, which is the ONLY press the Bills seem to get.
  7. Yes he does: back spasms. He left the game because of them after being the "starting" nickel CB. And I'd find it hard to believe Price was cut, since he was the starting WR. But stranger things have happened.
  8. Hicks is the guy who played in NFLE, right?
  9. Well if it WASN'T his fault, you think he should come out and say it was JR's fault? And from reports from training camp, JP almost always got down on himself for a mistake and usually had a bad series after it, so the fact that he had a good one after this mistake leads me to believe (along with Faulk's analysis) that JP was NOT at fault.
  10. Better blocking likely won't be coming this year.
  11. If Marshall Faulk had not said JR was at fault on the INT, I wouldn't be persisting. But the guy KNOWS Fairchild's system and the responsibilities of the WR's, and he is an impartial observer, meaning he has no one to protect and thus no reason to lie. In any case, it was no worse than what I've seen other, more experience, and good QB do from time to time. Hey that's what Warner did to basically lose the game for the Rams in the first Pats SB win.
  12. I was listening to ESPN radio the other day, and they all made it sound like Romo was the QB of the future and the reason they didn't draft one this year. They also made it sound like he'd become the starter sooner rather than later, but stopped short of saying Bledsoe would be the backup.
  13. The difference is that McGahee needed a helmet to his knee to actually shred it.
  14. Maybe Peerless beat Fowler at chess before JP did?
  15. No it's not, as I said. But Ralph HAS to do it, given it's a potential revenue stream he's left untapped.
  16. Well it IS odd, and you'd think Jauron would have said something like it was a personal reason.
  17. What's the over/under for Gore shredding his knee again?
  18. Deck chairs off the Titanic.
  19. Sure it is. See above.
  20. Yeah...hopefully not THAT (or the Vicodin) half.
  21. Yeah, I was talking naming rights and I agree $2M at best. As for franchise worth, it's in the $700M range. Kinda hard to see a potential owner, after the new joke of a CBA, saying "hmmm, I'd LOVE to plunk down $700M+ and have to look for a handout every year just to make a profit!"
  22. Good to hear Bowen and Vincent are back. And dang those back spasms! They suck. As for Peerless, I wonder what's up?
  23. Mike Shanahan called Barlow the best RB of the 2001 draft class...before the draft obviously.
  24. JP has a gunslingers mentality. That's the best way I can put it. The same was said above Favre. Let's hope JP becomes even half the QB Favre was.
