  1. How's Euhus doing in NO? Hate to be on the losing end of a trade.
  2. Williams did fine without Adams. Rogers will do fine without Wilkinson, not that the Lions' rush defense could get much worse.
  3. The Lions were lousy in rush defense last year. And Rogers is a Pro Bowl player still in his prime.
  4. I agree with TD being the biggest problem. However again I cannot excuse Mularkey's crap play-calling during the season and ESPECIALLY in that Miami game (it was a downer during an otherwise great Disney vacation!). Just because TD was a control freak does NOT mean that MM couldn't call a smart game. I hear you on that one.
  5. I'd forgive Mularkey those things, but his play-calling was crap. The Miami game was an embarrassment to lose, when merely running the ball the ENTIRE 2nd half, much less 4th quarter, would have led to a win.
  6. I was thinking that the Bills SHOULD keep Holcomb as the 3rd QB. I'm starting to rethink that. Go Kliff Kingsbury!
  7. I guess that could be an option. I just thought it was an out-of-left-field comment because Crowell has been a man possessed.
  8. Hence the reason I said avoid the middle until later in the season.
  9. Yeah, I did a double-take when I read CB's report after reading Rockpile's, since 16-26 with an INT and a sack does NOT sound that horrible.
  10. The key will be to NOT run it up the middle. Until later in the season when the old geezers are gassed.
  11. Crowell? He's virtually a lock to start at WLB. I think that Hunter is going to push Haggan off the roster. I also think that Watson will make it at MLB and Ezekiel will be put on the PS, and Stamer will make it at backup WLB. Yech.
  12. Chris Brown said that JP was 16-26 with an INT and a sack.
  13. True. He's getting reps, but the article said what I thought already; that center is his natural position (while Geisinger was called "the prototypical NFL OG" prior to being drafted). I wonder who wins the 7th spot? And how many OL will they keep; 9 like last year?
  14. Not surprising, considering they gave all 3 QB's about equal snaps last night. The longer they drag-out naming JP the starter, the further behind the offense will be.
  15. Interesting that Preston is moving back to center and Geisinger is moving back to OG. That's where they should be, but at least they got valuable experience at other positions.
  16. Yeah, I guess naming the stadium after yourself is the best way to avoid your heirs from moving the team, than say...telling them "KEEP THE TEAM IN BUFFALO OR YOUR INHERITANCE WILL BE CUT OFF!"
  17. This move helps the Jets inch closer to .250, not .500. They lost a lot more than they gained over the off-season.
  18. Aiken's probably saved his job with some production in pre-season, to go along with him being a great gunner. Hopefully he'll actually produce ON OFFENSE this year. Although I find it hard to believe he'll get a chance, what with Evans, Price, Reed, and Parrish ahead of him on the depth chart, if not another WR.
  19. What would be ideal is a punter who can also KO. Outside of that, I think maybe a team or two keeps a KO specialist every year.
  20. If your boss likes you, you could probably pull-off that move. Peerless is in NO danger of being cut, and won't even be fined.
  21. Anthony Phillips.
