  1. Let's see. Born in 1879 and wrote that riddle before 1900 (i.e. in the 19th century), meaning he at most would have been 20 when he wrote it. That Einstein's a genius I tell you!
  2. Wishful thinking on BOTH getting him in Buffalo and Chad Jackson being a good fantasy pick. He hasn't practiced in weeks because of a hamstring injury.
  3. right- a 73% completion rating for a 9 yard per completion average. Usually yards per attempt is the stat that they, and that was 6.8, with 3 points scored. Against a defense missing 2 of their best LB's.
  4. McGahee is several years out from his triple lig tear. Culpepper is barely 10 months removed. And the Bills faced a better Carolina defense. I checked the gamebook and Morgan and Diggs played in that game.
  5. Nope, it's the German. Sorry. http://www.naute.com/puzzles/puzzle13.phtml
  6. I'm somewhat impressed by Miami's pass-blocking, but their run-blocking is lousy. And the Panthers are without Dan Morgan and Na'il Digg (which could be affecting the pass-rush somewhat since Morgan is a blitzer). They're also missing Steve Smith at WR.
  7. Got German as well. Must have been a lot of dumb people back in Einstein's day.
  8. Nine sacks from the starting O-line?
  9. Um, yeah they did. Except for Cincy and Sam Adams, who's received less than stellar reviews.
  10. Fine. Those 3 players can pine for Holcomb while the rest want JP.
  11. I worked great when it was "My very educated mother just showed us nine planets." But hey, with only 8 of them now, it SHOULD be easier for them to align.
  12. During the SB years, the Bills never soldout season tickets and only had 2 season sellouts. So next idea.
  13. Marv Levy was a player for the Buffalo Bills?
  14. It was 24-17 before the 2nd fumble. http://www.nfl.com/gamecenter/playbyplay/N...0060818_CIN@BUF
  15. Well the Bills WOULD have been within a score at the half if not for inexplicably passing the ball with 30 seconds left on the game clock. But it IS the pre-season...
  16. I wish they would give Nance more playing time instead of Josh Reed.
  17. Wrong. There just aren't many billionaires willing to buy NFL franchises and keep them in a depressed economy, especially with a garbage CBA forcing them to basically accept charity from the rest of the league (because if they were to jack-up gameday prices to even just the NFL average, it would drive many fans away).
  18. Gates is still suffering from his ankle injury. Probably wasn't a good idea on his part to play.
  19. A-Train is now the backup to Willis. Gates' injury has set him back, I think.
  20. Nope, better to read about how the Bills up and moved because of ungrateful fans in a bad economy who had pro football for about 20 years too long because the former owner didn't REALLY care about the "bottom line" all that much. I never EVER want to read THOSE posts.
  21. Actually Nall has only completed more than 50% of his passes in 9 pre-season game, against the Falcons and Browns in 2003: http://www.nfl.com/teams/schedule/GB/2005 (only played in the Buffalo and Tenn games) http://www.nfl.com/teams/schedule/GB/2004 (only played in the Jags and Tenn games) http://www.nfl.com/teams/schedule/GB/2003 The only time he saw action during the regular season was in 2004, but that was in garbage time of a blowout win and loss. JP went 7-11 with a dropped ball, for a 63% completion rate (or 73% if you count the drop). Can't really expect much more than that. And reportedly tonight he was 15-26 with 3 drops.
  22. He SHOULD be able to, as long as he doesn't dive for any more passes.
  23. Watson's problem is that he came over late, well after the time when he could have gotten into proper shape for the defense the Bills are running. It wasn't his talent so much as it was his conditioning. Tell that to the Patriots, who traded WR Bethel Johnson for DT Jonathan Sullivan. Sullivan will likely be released before the season starts, while the Pats are hurting for WR's.
