  1. Look at it this way. A FG is better than nothing.
  2. Alright, let JP sit. He won the job. Let Nall start and see what he can do in a half with the starters for sometime into the 3rd quarter.
  3. It wasn't Gandy's fault. No receiver outside him. And NO MORE PASSES TO DAIMON SHELTON!
  4. ARRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH! And that was a TD!
  5. Okay, after the errant snap by Fowler and delay in getting the call in...I'm starting to rethink attributing the earlier DOG and fumble to JP.
  6. That Villarrial penalty on the post-TD drive was a killer. JP has been looking REALLY good so far. Every pass has been on-target. He took a coverage sack there and had pressure from all sides, and didn't cough-it-up. Let's see how he runs the 2-minute drill. It wasn't that great last week.
  7. Blinker2 as in
  8. Williams is 1a and Anderson is 1b.
  9. I checked Chris Brown's blog. Said Takeo's day was done around 6:35PM.
  10. It was Gandy.
  11. Gotta work on the clock management and center-QB exchange, but YES!!!
  12. JP is 4/5 for 81 yards and a TD (and a fumble that wasn't lost thankfully).l And the incompletion was a perfect strike to Shelton, who got drilled as he got the ball.
  13. As for the first TD drive by the Browns, I'll assume that since Ellison and Wire were in there, the Bills were rotating backups in there to evaluate them.
  14. Nice. Two bad plays by JP (I'll assume the DOG and fumble were on him, but fortunately they are correctable), but nice play there. He's been sharp on all his passes so far.
  15. Hopefully Kyle Williams and Ryan Denney as well.
  16. In another thread I said that Branch could be a Steve Smith type of WR. However until he leaves the system and PROVES that, it's hard to justify trading a #1 pick on him and making him one of the highest-paid WR's. Especially this late in the season.
  17. Looks like the Bears were playing without 2/3 of the DT rotation including a starter, and 3/4 of their starting secondary.
  18. Did anyone see that INT BR tossed-up, and the almost INT McNabb had? How could they do that?!
  19. All I remember hearing about Losman last year was that he was acing Wyche's pop quizzes. Little did I realize it was all rote memorization.
  20. Norman Einstein's Riddle: Which announcer is a doofus? Tony Kornheiser is a respected sports journalist. Mike Tirico is a respected sportscaster. Joe Theismann changed his name from Theisman.
  21. Peters was actually being developed at LT prior to partway through last season, and was moved to RT after Williams got hurt and proved to be a bust, not to mention after Gandy proved to be a solid but unspectacular LT. And as for Peters' ability, I'll wait until the real season starts, when they start watching game film and gameplanning for opponents. Not that I think he played poorly this pre-season (while Bennie Anderson has looked like garbage).
  22. Branch could be a Steve Smith type WR, if he played in an offense like Carolina. Brady and his spread-it-around offense is probably HURTING his numbers more than anything.
  23. "I was born in Dusseldorf and that is why they call me Rolf!"
