    Actually you can remind me if he catches more than 1 pass a game, which is what Davis did.

    Word is they were expected to do that, so they didn't have to guarantee his salary. They'll sign him after the season starts and only have to pay him on a per-game basis.

    The Pats haven't had a FA WR workout for them since David Patten back in 2001. Whether that's because they rarely stick with them for more than a year I don't know. However the system is too complicated for a WR to learn, much less without a full off-season, training camp, and pre-season.

    The Rams released former Bills UDFA DE Matthew Rice, who had 3 sacks in the Rams' pre-season opener. Not that I want the Bills to pick him up, just that the Bills didn't make a mistake releasing him.

    Yeah, even with their losses over the past few years, they're still the best team in the division and should win it again this year.

    BJ is on IR and Sullivan is either going to be cut or probably the last DL on the Pats' roster and likely an every gameday inactive, barring injury, which always seem to plague the Pats. Pretty much every one of their FA signings last year proved to be worthless. I think only Heath Evans actually contributed anything, mostly against his former team (the Dolphins).

    Got it. Unfortunately for the Chefs, it looks like Willie's really done this time. No contact with the team isn't a good sign. And interesting that Will Shields has a high ankel sprain. Could be a tough year for LJ and the Chefs' offense.

    Yeah losing both starting tackles was a huge blow for the Chefs. And Will Shields was contemplating retirement last year. As for Roaf, I didn't quite understand what you were getting at.
