  1. It depends what happens on the off-season with Kelsay and Hargrove, but I can't see a first pick being a defensive lineman if one or both of those guys are back. LB really scares me right now with Fletcher as good as gone and Spikes a big question mark. I still think a big WR is needed early in the draft or free-agency because production-wise our WR's really pale in comparison to many other teams.
  2. He is also in that new sitcom with David Spade. He's also played "The Tick" and is the voice of the guy in the wheelchair on Family Guy.
  3. I thought LT was trying to get away from Pats that were trying to give him congrats. It looked like to me that LT just wanted off the field.
  4. I don't hate Willis. He's a hard guy to warm up to and it's even worse when he opens his mouth. Absolutely zero substance. I don't sense a passion or a desire to win. The one word that summarizes his attitude is "whatever".
  5. Antowain Smith did the same thing while he was in Buffalo. It's our friggin O-Line.
  6. Jeez, Cieslak had three catches today. Where's he been all year??!!! For cryin' out loud, we've been griping all year about lack of production from the position.
  7. I agree. I just wish that they would take the handcuffs off. Half-time at the Chicago game would have been a great time to say, "Ok kid let's let it rip." Play to his strengths already.
  8. I agree with you and I've been saying it since last year. A physical and tall receiver is needed to compliment Evans. A tight end that scares other teams would help as well. While I agree about the lack of offensive line talent on the Bills, the fact is that there is rarely anyone wide open for our QB's to throw to. Period.
  9. Not with this team. If we are pass happy we will lose even more. I'm more concerned with getting 30 rushing attempts consistently. Here's another good example: 10-15, 148 yds, 3 TDs. Those are Damon Huard's number from this past week. It's not the attempts, it's making them count.
  10. I have nothing aginst Trent Green except that he is 37.
  11. No thanks. Injury prone.
  12. We gotta run with at least 6 to 8 carries for the A-Train against his former team. JP should also change up his hard count from what he used in the Vikings game. The Bears will try to bring pressure early.
  13. I haven't heard ANYTHING about A.J. Hawk, not even on Sirius. That's because the Packers can't stop anyone. Maurice Drew has had one good game.
  14. Probably two or three months. So probably yes.
  15. I'd ask for a 4th and settle for a 5th. They NEED and WANT an experienced backup. Losing Holcomb would deprive us of a #3 QB too. Logically any pick from the Colts is going to be really late in any given round.
  16. Holcomb to the Colts for a draft pick. Ship the pick to the Titans for Volek.
  17. Here's the rest of the waiver wire "awards" and new cuts courtesy of Profootballtalk.com Waiver awards: ARIZONA: DB Hanik Milligan (from Chargers); DB Matt Ware (from Eagles). 18. Actually it's his cousin. http://www.nfl.com/players/playerpage/493051
  19. A lot of teams are scanning wire because of desperation. The Saints claimed FIVE players--all who will be on their 53 man roster. The Titans claimed four. Most likely these teams will be b-a-d.
  20. Bingo that's the reason Gates was cut and the reason they didn't play him last year.
  21. 1) Dan "son of Joe" Klecko (Pats)-He showed some promise his first year---they had him doing all kinds of stuff. He has been non-existent since then. 2) Danny Clark-LB (Raiders)-he'll probably find work quickly. 3) Peter Warrick-WR/PR (Seahawks)-Watch the Raiders pick him up. The two I'm watching with interest are Matt Mauck (Titans) who I think would be a great #3 QB prospect for someone and Tyrone Calico (Titans) whose size (6-4) and speed are too great to pass up---when he isn't hurt.
  22. This is so Teddy Bruschi can play all three linebacker slots simultaneously.
  23. More upcoming cuts: Denver Broncos QB Bradlee Van Pelt Texans QB Cody Pickett
  24. He's not a veteran, but I'm watching the 3rd QB battle with the Rams between Dave Ragone and Ryan Fitzpatrick. Ragone has a relationship with coach Linehan and Fitzpatrick has a relationship with our Steve Fairchild. I'd claim him if he's available. Backup QB's are a fairly hot commodity right now so there could be a market for Holcomb to Indy or the Chargers.
