  1. You like Pat, huh? You must be a Sirius NFL Radio junkie like me. I respect his intellect but he made some HORRIBLE picks when he ran the Jets. He does understand the cap though, which Floyd Reese didn't. That's why Reese got canned in TN.
  2. Too many receivers and our offense is lame. How do you think they're going to get Hardy the ball too?
  3. That's because they spend too many early draft picks on guys who aren't lineman.
  4. Still can't get over his pre-season play can you.
  5. This is the NFL, expect the unexpected. That's poor coaching. My problem with Trent is not his ability or potential, I think he has both. My problem is that he's become the "company lackey" consistently toting whatever BS the coaching staff (ie: Jauron) is putting out there. And I don't think he leads his teammates real well or motivates them to play at a higher level. He needs to put more urgency into his game or his career is going to quickly fade.
  6. He's been a tool ever since he arrived in KC and running backs are a dime-a-dozen. Next.
  7. I can't defend the Bills in many instances, but Colin Cowherd's rant about Buffalo not deserving a team p**sed me off. Lumping us in with Jacksonville where no-one shows up isn't a fair comparison. BTW they should add the Raiders to that list who only are getting 40k at games right now.
  8. Morals aside, I still don't think Vick would be good in Buffalo. People worry about Edwards arm with the wind at the Ralph, I think Vick would have a worse time.
  9. I don't think one of the "big names" is going to coach for the Redskins unless a) there is HUGE money attached, and b) the front office including Vinny Cerrato is dumped. An interesting quote from Profootball Weekly: "You heard Mike Tomlin admit it — owners don't want to pay anyone. He was cheap labor."
  10. George Kokinis helped build the Ravens. I can't wait to find out what Mangini threw him under the bus for..
  11. Do other teams move guys from position to position? If so I never hear about it.
  12. I really do think the Browns want him gone, or at least I did until this week. I have no idea who is actually running things now in Cleveland. I think a 3rd or 4th would have had the trade done. Quinn has some contract escalators which is why some suspect Mangini isn't playing him. I don't think he'll be in Cleveland by draft day.
  13. The REAL problem + the limited amount of $$$ to work with.
  14. He doesn't play enough snaps---too early to judge.
  15. Campbell=Losman to the effect that he's had multiple coordinators and head coaches. He may be ruined already.
  16. OL: I'm fine with the LT position and the rest of the OL (when Butler is back). The Bills are 3-4 but not likely going anywhere so the off-season will be important for the OL to get stronger and better. QB: This is all about the coaching staff. Even though IMO the Bills QB have plenty of time to complete passes, both QB's are erratic. We have plenty of competent WR's (Evans, Reed, T.O.) and some up-and-coming talent like Johnson and Hardy. I think one of the things that holds the Bills offense back is the TE position. Nelson is a step in the right direction, but the rest of the crop are not NFL caliber TE's, not for starters at least. The Bills do not have a #1 TE on the roster right now and haven't in YEARS. My suggestion: Keep Edwards and have him compete to be the #1. Fitz stays for the rest of his contract as a backup. I think Brady Quinn would be a good option (maybe a 4th round pick?, that I would gladly spend). Spend the early draft picks instead on LB and DT/DE and sign an experienced TE to compete with Nelson. Oh, yeah and none of this works unless you REPLACE THE COACHING STAFF!!!!
  17. Is Brian Griese still unsigned?
  18. I'm at a bit of a loss on this one. The O-line today was the worst yet this season so it is hard for me to think there's a huge improvement with Fitz over Edwards. Although throws like the quick slant to Evans in the end zone don't seem like Edwards style. That's a plus. The minus is Fitz throws more bad/incomplete passes. It doesn't matter though, Jauron will put Edwards back as the starter when he's healthy. It would completely shock me if he didn't.
  19. It isn't just ONE bad game. He's lost three fumbles; two in the Cleveland game one in the N.O. game. His punt return average is anemic this year. It isn't entirely his fault, special teams have been bad, but his decision making doesn't help. Running the wrong direction and losing like 20 yards, etc. My guess is that he ends up handling either kick returns OR punt returns, not both, when the coaching staff feels like they can trust him again.
  20. We need a stud OLB.
  21. Parrish is a victim of all of the turnover in our special teamers. He is arguably the best returner the Bills have ever had (besides maybe McGee). Having said that he's worthless this year and getting Jackson more touches even if it means during the return game is worth it. Instead of a 7th round pick I'd rather have a player. Maybe a LB from the Chiefs or Raiders? I would have taken that DT Tank Tyler that was just traded and put him in our rotation.
  22. As I posted in another thread Fitz was 10 for 25, 116 yards. 51.4 QB rating. Very poor but we won.
  23. Amazing how we settle for mediocrity when we win. Fitz was 10 of 25 for 116 yards. A QB rating of 51.4
  24. 1st in 2009 and 2010 3rd in 2009 and Kyle Orton Broncos gave them back a 5th in 2009.
