Remember the guy who sued the Bills over excessive texts?

I'm glad I live in Canada. There's a whole bunch of suing going on down south! -
Cuomo appointees to explore new Bills Stadium
TheZone78 replied to uncle flap's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The group you are referring to is sort of an outlier. It's not government stopping them. Even the Bills are not interested in what that group is saying. And don't kid yourself. NOTHING gets done privately without government being involved at some level. PTR In my eyes, the Bills are playing nice and being politically correct. If they acted with the private group they would alienate a lot of Government allies. Last I heard the current land owners NFTA (I think they were) would not sell the land to the developer. Too bad. It was a visionary idea. I'm aware nothing gets done without Government involvement. That fact alone is so counter productive and a travesty. -

Why are politicians involved at all? There is a private group with a serious proposal on the table that are chomping at the bit to get a multi purpose facility built and yet nobody will listen to them. Amazing. Mike Pettine speculation-interviewing w Cleveland
TheZone78 replied to mannc's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
For the record, I hope Pettine stays but if the Browns chose Schiano over Pettine they've reached another level of incompetence. You can't fix stupid. -
This tells of what they want to do on offense in my opinion. Read options, roll outs, safe throws and the QB scrambling. With all our defensive personnel coming back this week it shows you their thinking against a very tough Bengals team. Hoping to squeeze by this week on the defense's back. If so, EJ will already have close to three weeks rest by Game 2.

They were "open" to trading him before as Whaley has gone on record citing "we will take calls on any player". How this is somehow a huge revelation all of the sudden is beyond me. If they feel they get a deal that would benefit the club they will make it. To think Byrd has not been shopped before and no trade discussions haven't yet occurred is naive. Schefter's tweet is much ado about nothing.

He said he had some orthotics made last week that have helped. Just last week? Jairus you are a PR nightmare.

Albert Breer said it is Marrone's decision if Byrd plays on Thursday.

Byrd practiced fully today. First time.

Looks as though the cap hit could be even better. Leodis McKelvin's deal w/Buffalo somewhere between $17 million and $20 million over 4 years, per @RapSheet & @AlbertBreer
-
7.5 million of the 20 million is guaranteed. This is a good contract for an elite returner and solid nickel back.
-
We don't know how his contract breaks down. What's incentive laden, what's guaranteed. He's a dominant returner and turned out to be a very effective nickel corner for us. Nickels are on the field a lot these days. Definitely bolsters the Bills backfield, it was getting bare back there.
-
@alexmarvez The #Billshave re-signed CB/returner Leodis McKelvin to a four-year, $20M contract.

My source has confirmed the bars name is ON LIKE A MOFO -
I read a couple boards and they do have a poster who claims to be an "insider"...after rolling my eyes, I looked into his poster history and he said the Bills back in early January of 2012 would make a run at Mario Williams...so I felt safe enough to share the post. Again, don't shoot the messenger! "It's a near certainty that Gailey is gone as soon as Monday, however from what I just heard it sounds like the Bills are open to keeping him another season. After the Rams game there was some talk in the FO that Gailey was going to be fired and those talks began to boil after the Seahawks game, in fact the Bills were calling around to possible head coachs to see if there would be an interest in coaching the Bills. Now the Bills cannot and would not call a coach directly with Gailey still coaching, but they have reached out to representatives and people close to those coachs. What they have heard so far from those coaches has been positive, however the Bills have to wonder if these reps are telling the Bills this and are just using the Bills. If the Bills feel like there is genuine interest in a big name coach or a coach they really like coaching the Bills then Gailey is gone, but if they feel like they are being used and will come up empty handed again they wouldn't want to end up making the same kind of coaching hire just because they have to fill it. They would feel better about Gailey coaching the team for one more season then they would say Todd Haley for the next three. All that said it does seem as though Russ believes they can get the coach they want and he wants Nix gone as well, although that will take some convincing on his part as Ralph likes Nix. They have reached out to Gruden by the way, I did not hear that they meant with one another but they did reach out to him to see if he'd have interest."

Sports Illustrated coaching change article

John, I feel bad for Chan. I know they went from a spread offense to more of a dink and dunk short horizontal passing game this year. Since teams have caught on to the screen game they haven't had an answer. Now that Chandler has gone down the Bills are very easy to defend against offensively. I know Chan's abilities have been severely limited by his personnel at QB and lack of supporting cast at WR. Either way it's irrelevant what I think because it will have absolutely zero bearing on what happens early next week. I think what frustrates Bills fans the most is the organization just doesn't show itself as a first class organization. They have done bizarre things in the front office after Donahoe was ushered out. I hope they are able to capture lightning in a bottle again sooner rather than later. -

I just want to know what the heck happened to Chan this year. His attitude changed and his play calling looked like he had a big glass of crack to drink before the game. The first two years I didn't have an issue with him. What the heck changed?
