  1. Allegany County here. We hear them all the time. Ive been hunting for them a few times, kinda eerie. They tend to travel in packs and people have been surrounded by them while they were hunting. The "sound" that you use (tape recording of baby rabbits screaming is one) is nasty sounding and it brings them in. You use an infrared light to spot them and you see their eyes. Pretty cool/scary at the same time. Have seen about 10-20 coming in at me. At the slightest sound or if they catch a whiff of you, they are gone.

  2. ran both and they were fine

Make sure you ran the extended test and not the quick test. It makes a difference to really see if your hard drive is bad or not.

    # QUICK TEST - performs SMART drive quick self-test to gather and verify the Data Lifeguard information contained on the drive.

    # EXTENDED TEST - performs a Full Media Scan to detect bad sectors. Test may take several hours to complete depending on the size of the drive.

  3. no errors found at all

    Not yet.

    Go here: http://support.wdc.com/download/index.asp?cxml=n&swid=30

You have a Western Digital harddrive, so make a boot floppy from the site and see if it can detect any problems on your drive.  If the software says it's dead, then you can take it out, enter the serial number on the website, and see if it's still under warrenty.  If not, you'll need to buy a new one.

If the software says the drive is fine, then maybe your MBR (master boot record) somehow was corrupted and we can go from there.

  4. Ok so I turn on the computer and I get " Invalid System Disk, replace the disk and press any key". So I reboot, and get into the BIOS. In the Boot section, my boot preferences were as follows: replacable drive, cd drive, hard drive, network drive. I put my hard drive at the top of the order, saved, and re-booted and same problem. It doesnt sound as if my HD boots at all. Is it still booting first off the floppy drive? I unhooked the floopy (manually) and still same message.

  5. When booting my old HP Pavilion 8755c, it says to insert the system disk. Since I lost my recovery disks long ago, does anyone have any clue on what I can do next. Help, this is really bugging me. A friend has another Pavilion (5012) and I tried those with no success. HP says that the disks are unavailable.

  6. If you are anywhere near The Arnot Mall in Horseheads, I saw a sweet Sabres t-shirt with Briere on the back at Olympia Sports. They had a bunch of other t-shirts as well.

That sells a variety of merchandise? I've gone to the Sabres site and looked on the on-line store.  Quite frankly, they dont have cr@p.

I dont know it they make these for the Sabres but I'd like to get a t-shirt with the sabres logo on the front and the player name/number on the back.I've seen these for other teams but not the Sabres.
