  1. My sentiments exactly! Let him be stupid enough to piss away long term millions and a pro career only because he and his agent became greedy. These tards somehow have forgotten that they would get a bigger deal next year as opposed to right now!
  2. Do we need to start a new Peters thread everyday?
  3. Obviously, you have followed very little of the Evans' contract talks. Things are going well except for the incentives and other things that Lee wants in his contract, IMHO. I have a feeling that he'll sign a new deal sometime this season. He has not mentioned postponing negotiations during the season because he doesn't want that distraction as some other players have done.
  4. My guess would be one of the DB's. I think the coaching staff wants to keep all the OL and DL people they can.
  5. You'll have to check again. CJ was just put on the PS. Wow after watching that video you know he's gonna grow up to be a MAN in this world. Bless his parents for raising him right!
  6. Haha! Wouldn't that be a huge kick in the balls.
  7. Hell no! Unless he wants to risk injury so he can sit out the season on this "excuse" and renegotiate next year. This seems very likely IMO, however. He should be brought on slowly and allowed to start in week 4.
  8. The 49ers leaving the bay? WTF?! The equivalent of the Pack leaving Green Bay!!!
  9. Or Omon. I'd rather have him on the PS. Good LT are very hard to find and we can't afford to lose above average OL. I have a question: I read recently that the PS allows for 8 players--does this mean management is using this space to sign other castoffs?
  10. Agreed. I thought James was supposed to be our new K Thomas but Will apparently sucketh mucheth.
  11. You're comparing 2 HOF to a rookie?
  12. Sorry but you have it ass backwards. Peters ought to come back on hands and knees and beg for forgiveness cuz it looks like he's gonna forfeit 3 years of his pro football career.
  13. If true, he prolly won't play the first four games to get into game shape. At least that's how I would handle it. Previous reports to other hold outs hold that most of those players suffer some type of injury that keeps them out of alot of games because their bodies aren't ready for the regular season.
  14. This is so off topic it doesn't belong here and I hope it gets deleted. BTW, Obama is a Muslim!!!
  15. Dumb. Trent has already been declared the starter unless he's put 6 ft. under before Sept.
  16. Jauron seems to think so and I hope it isn't a baseless compliment on his part. Wow it seems we found another OT gem deep in the draft who will be starting sooner than later. If we could only find a center and RG of note.
  17. How is that different from caving in to his demands? Pretty dumb if you ask me. Nope, just hang on to him for the next 3 years if he don't report by Week 1. That is if he's stupid enough to piss his NFL career away. I really want to know who is behind this logic: him or his agent?
  18. Wow! Win or lose I'd take the 11 wins cuz that means we have a chance at the postseason in this conference.
  19. Wish I could help you; I'm also interested in the answer.
  20. I remember Evans (he was the only one with balls) to say something along these lines last year. He was vilified on this board for being a "lockerroom cancer" for expressing his opinion as fact. Well it turned out to be 100% accurate.
  21. What a f*cking moron to make such a blanket statement only to contradict himself in the VERY NEXT PARAGRAPH!!! St. Louis Rams: The Rams started last season 1-8 and never quite recovered as injuries killed their season. They're all healthy now. Unfortunately, they have one of the hardest first two months of any NFL schedule you'll ever see. In September and October, the Rams play games against the Seahawks (six straight losses), Giants, Patriots, Cowboys, Redskins, Eagles and Bills. Good luck with that. WTF!
  22. He's made other blunders as well that you prolly haven't noticed. He's prone to give up the huge play. Already 3 times I know he's giving up at least 15+ yard completions in the minimal amount of time he's put in at corner and against scrubs no less!!! Yes, I know he's a rookie and will give him time but he needs to smarten up if he wants more PT.
  23. Did you watch any of the games last year after he was named a starter? If his performances don't convince you he's a starting corner in this league nothing ever will. I can't believe the idiots who proclaimed McKelvin the starter after he was drafted! He's lights out on teams but covering receivers is not his forte. Yet. The coaching staff believe in Jabari's cover skills as I do and will be the starter here until he becomes an UFA or is traded. We now have the best secondary in the league (that's including the depth), bar none!!!
  24. Lynch hasn't been used enough as a receiver to pass judgment. The thing is it's great we have Jackson to take the load off Marshawn not just on 3rd downs but whenever he needs a breather. Thurman didn't need to be taken out because he didn't take the big hits most RB's do; but I'm glad we had Davis who was a beast in his own right. This just means we can hang onto Lynch for a tad bit longer during his Bills career.
  25. And provides definitive proof that both of our QB's were hindered by their "OC". He was a joke and I'm glad to see him gone. I've been VERY surprised by the pass protection we're getting from the new line (esp. w/o Peters in the mix). But it's too early to judge them.
