  1. Oh don't get me wrong, I also thought he was ridiculous last week with what he was doing/trying to do. It's just that, it was ONE game, and people were not looking at the overall picture. I fully place that loss on him, but his haters/people who wait/want for him to fail came out in full force and tried to gaslight people into thinking he isn't special. It was silly.
  2. Yeah, and he and the offense were moving pretty well down the field when they were dinking and dunking/taking what the defense gave them. It only got out of hand when he tried forcing some stuff that was completely unnecessary. We had no business losing that game, but we did, and we can't change that. Still a ton of overreactions toward a QB for our team that more often than not makes magic happen on offense.
  3. Tough day for the "Trade Josh/We're stuck with him for at least three years/He sucks!!" crowd 🤐
  4. I mean, we can't rule it out. It crossed my mind the other night as well.
  5. Yeah, I remember being in this same scenario two seasons ago. Josh's first two games against Pittsburgh and Miami were bad, and he was getting a lot of grief, and the season went on to be all over the place, but they were clicking on all cylinders by the end and Josh was something else in the playoffs. I mean it when I say if they held on for 13 seconds, they go all the way and win the SB. Nothing was stopping Josh and the offense that postseason. It's just one more reason why I think Buffalo is cursed and we aren't allowed a SB win. 13 freaking seconds. Ugh!! Anyway, Josh did not play well Monday night, or at least, he was playing well, until he got bored and decided to get reckless and chuck the ball down the field. That can be worked on. Wanting a new QB because of this, and whatever issues he had last year which are so freaking inflated(he had about two more INTs than Mahomes and Burrow) is pure insanity. Right now we have a Quarterback at least 28 other teams would kill to have, but yeah, we are "stuck" with him and have to hold out for another, even though this one consistently gets us into the playoffs, which gives us a chance to go to the Bowl. We don't know that the next one does. My mind just boggles. I need at least till the beginning of next month before I can truly assess how I feel about this season.
  6. This is the same guy who got us to the AFCCG. A year later he was unstoppable in the playoffs. Do you think, if 13 seconds did not happen that we would not have won it all? I think we would have. That loss was not on him. He kept bringing us back from the dead in that game, converted two 4th and longs, to win us the damn game, only to have the defense and coaches ***** the bed. Absolutely not. Without Josh, I don't think this team is going to the playoffs. We have a decent team. I don't think the team as a whole is as good as some people claim it is. I think Josh and Diggs have been carrying the team. We never have a good run game, or OL, and our main, legit weapons are Josh and Diggs, so no, I don't think some mythical new QB is going to come into this team and save it. Monday night or not, Josh and Burrow are regarded as the two QB's fighting for the QB2 spot. Now maybe that changes this year, but we are one game in, and because of a bad game by Josh Monday night, we are talking about how we are "stuck" with him, and will just find something better in the draft? Okay. Sure. Let's throw away the guy that gives us a chance every year and just find someone better. These generational QB's grow on trees. Should be easy enough, and I am CERTAIN this new QB will take us to the promiseland and win the SB for us. No doubt.
  7. Oh noooo, are we really for certain we are going to be "stuck" with the guy who carries the team on his back(for better or worse) and made The Bills relevant again? Please say it aint so!!! I mean, it would be nice to have a QB who could at least get the team into the playoffs!! Oh wait. Well, the least he could do is get us to an AFCCG, hell, he could do that, and then do everything in his power to ensure a back to back trip to the AFCCG, even if coaching undoes it in 13 seconds. I mean, it would at least be giving the team a chance, but clearly he cannot do that. "But but, he hasn't taken us to a Super Bowl or won us one!!". I know right? The lazy bum. It's such an easy thing to do and all QB's do it. My god, Bills fans are a miserable bunch, aren't they? Let's trade Josh away, go back on the QB carousel and keep missing the playoffs. Now those were the good old days, and quite possibly, what some Bills fans are more comfortable with.
  8. It was a press conference back in 2021, after Josh's first two uninspired games against Pittsburgh and Miami. Around the time of the Washington Commanders game.
  9. Oh please, after the payday he went on to put up stats close to his 3rd year breakout, and his best playoff performance ever, and 13 seconds away from a 2nd straight AFCCG. We all want a Super Bowl, and he has shown he can get them there, but it is a team effort and it can't ALL be on him. Only one happy team at the end of every season. I want a SB title more than anything, but it might never happen. Just like it may never happen for Burrow or Herbert. Doesn't diminish their talent.
  10. I have a few theories. I would not say Josh lost "focus", but I think the weight of trying to get to the SB and bring this area a championship is weighing on him more than one could possibly know. I know he wants it as bad as we do, and god knows we made the AFCCG a few years ago, and then he did everything humanly possible to get us back to the AFCCG only to be let down by "13 seconds". It is possible he is worrying that it might never happen and it's messing with his mind. The golf, commercials and Hollywood gf are a complete escape for him. He doesn't have to worry about all the baggage and when the season comes around, it's back. At the end of the day, he is human, and really has no guidance. I don't think his maturity levels are at the same level as some of his peers like Mahomes, Burrow, Tua etc Josh seems like a big, silly kid who enjoys telling DeezNuts jokes, while the other guys I mentioned are married/having families and bigger responsibilities. Josh is just a different animal. I get the "grow up" advice Dan is putting out there. I am just not sure Josh would know what to do with that, or how. He is who he is. He's a little immature, and I think been handled with kid gloves(Daboll aside) and in a town where he has been universally loved unconditionally. So I say, they should definitely hook him up with a sports doctor, and hopefully he would be open to it. Listened to Mina Kimes and Foxworths podcast today and they were so confused by his play last night and why he was able to reign it in for a couple years, and now seems to be losing all control, and I was surprised they did not mention Daboll or think about the effect he had on Josh.
  11. I think we have a perfect candidate right here.
  12. This is true, but Daboll flat out said he had to pull Allen aside, sit him down, make him watch videos of all the incredible plays he makes and remind him how special he is. He said Josh was borderline despondent. He could show a lot of tough love, but he was able to reel Josh back in and help him get his head straight.
  13. Yeah, this is kind of where I am at too. Honestly, those comments allegedly from him and Jerry sound like just about every out of touch boomer says, and believe me, they don't think they are being ignorant/racist. I am going to wait for this to play out, but if true, it is so surprising because of a lot of the things you mentioned.
  14. Okay, now I am seeing people say this could force Terry to sell the team, and I am scared. I don't know what happens with the new Stadium deal if this happens, but I feel sick.
  15. Is he really out for the year? I am hearing different reports.
  16. I do agree with some of this. So much mental stuff, and you can literally see/tell when The Bills start losing the fight, and just giving up. I don't know why it happens, but it's a thing. There are times when they fight back, I think of the Tampa game a couple years ago, divisional back and forth with KC, Baltimore last year, but a lot of times you see them fold when it gets tough, especially if they had the lead/momentum, and it shifts. I often wonder if this is a drained team. 3 or 4 years of expectations from a team that is getting older, and a lot of baggage. This is why I wanted more shakeups in the off season and wasn't on board with getting the whole band back together. They have all been through the highs and lows together, but I worry they are now in a funk together.
  17. Josh needs to clean up his turnovers, but you are talking about a guy who pretty much single handedly carries us to 13 wins/playoffs every year. i can't be bothered to listen to how "tired" people are. Hell, I sat there and watched Scott Norwoods kick go wide right, and the ensuing 3 SB losses after that, and then later down the road, The Music City Miracle, and then 17 years of nothingness. I could complain about being tired too. I am sure we all could. What are you tired of though? NOT going to the SB? Hey, I want to go back too, but if it was easy, every team would have done it. It takes a lot to get there, a lot of it involves being healthy and lucky breaks. It's not an easy feat, even if teams like The Pats and Chiefs make it seem so. It's not, they are exceptions, not the rule. So basically, we have a team that goes to the playoffs year in and out, was 13 seconds away from quite possibly winning it all, and Bills fans have gotten so spoiled that it's not good enough. Believe me, I still sick over "13 seconds", but it beats a drought.
  18. He tore his UCL after the Packers game, and he STILL balled out for the most part. He still won us games. Yeah, it was different than the first 6 games, but he still made magic happen. He tends to have a lot of turnovers every year. Tonight was just one of his worst, and this time around they cost us, but it's one freaking game. I think we need at least a few more before we come to crazy thoughts like trading him and whatever nonsense being said. He did not get off to a stellar start in 2021 either. His first two games were terrible, but he turned it around, and put on quite a show in the playoffs.
  19. Yeah, you know, Beanes draft picks were not the problem tonight. Rousseau and Kincaid looked good. Where Beane has missed is bringing in more help. We needed it in the off season. I would not have cared if he sacrificed some of the defense for a stronger OL, or more weapons for Josh. Really, really wanted DHop. This was the most disappointing off season in a while, and made me think he has given up on trying to bring in players to get us over the hump.
  20. This is so ridiculous. I saw the same interview, and Josh came off as usual, being goofy. I did not take his comments seriously at all. He's goofy. He just has some haters here, and they will stop at nothing when it comes to him. It's bizarre. Now, I do blame him for tonight's loss, and it was a terrible game from him, but I cannot sit here after ONE game and act like he is not it and we have to go back to the drawing board. If this keeps up over the next few weeks, yes, be concerned, but it was game one. The amount of people here who want or wait for him to fail is just sad.
  21. This loss was so senseless. I don't see The Jets going very far with Zach Wilson as their QB, and we lost this freaking game just like we did last year, to a team with a good defense, but thats about it. As for Rodgers. That is a heartbreaker. I would not wish something like this on any team. I hate that we lost, but this is something a lot more devastating.
  22. Tua played in the second rematch in December. It was another close, back and forth, but The Bills won.
  23. She has connections with Lays, Gillette, Verizon etc? The commercials started last year, before the "pretty little Hollywood girlfriend" came along.
  24. Ah ok, thanks. Will check it out.
  25. Does anyone know what games we are getting locally? I would like to see either The Bengals vs The Browns or Chargers and Dolphins.
