Welp, we might as well put the offense out on the field to play defense at this point. No words.

Come on!! We are just trying to hand them the game at this point.

Not getting the ball in decent field position is not helping matters. Come on Josh, you got a second chance. Just take what's being given, don't try and force anything. Also, if I see any James Cook runs, I am going to lose it.

You know, a large part of Football is all about health and lucky breaks, just as much as the rest of the stuff, and we get NO help in those areas. As if our defense isn't dead enough, now this? Why can't we get lucky breaks once in a while? It's maddening.

Give credit to Brandon Beane??? I think I stopped doing that after the trade for Diggs. His last great move. Since then he has been stagnant.

I am not sure, but he is getting desperate, you can tell. He starts pressing and trying to do it all. I feared that would happen, and it did. I am willing to watch this offense one more time, after The Bengals score, and if it goes nowhere or ends in another turnover, I think for my own sanity I need to turn it off.

I am sure he's as mentally exhausted as physically, knowing it's all on him, all the time.

I feel bad for reading here and seeing a lot of hope and optimism. I want to feel it, but I can't. Ugh!! Maybe it's just the last two games against them. I know the first was a whopping 9 minutes total, but they looked like they were going to move with effortless ease every time they had the ball. Same thing happened in the divisional. I guess I don't know what exactly would make it different this time around? Looks like Josh is most likely going to have to put on his cape for us to have a chance. Just not feeling good about this one, but would love to be proven wrong.

Same. I am actually sort of dreading this one. It seems like The Bengals have our number, and if we lose, it's our 4th conference loss and we will be in a position where we may have to win out, or lose just one more game, given how tight the AFC is. The Bengals are in a tough spot too, because they are last in their division. It's a must win for both teams, but given how our D can't seem to stop them, and neither could SF's(and imho they have a healthier/stronger D) I just don't feel good about this. Sometimes I hate night games, because you don't have a lot of time to process what happened before going to bed and having to get up early. Ugh. If its close and we lose, at least we will know we can hang with them. If we get murdered, I will again be side eyeing Beane for the weird and uneventful off season we had.

But of course, what since my opinion clearly holds so much weight 🙄Look, I think we may be in for a very bumpy ride tomorrow, but it's not like I am going to be mad/sad if I am wrong about this 👍

Well then, at the very least I would call it even. We still had a healthy Milano. We had Tre'. We did not have Hyde and Miller, but again, some of the players we have back THIS season are in place of some of the ones we had LAST season, so it might be a wash and does not give me a ton of confidence going against that offense. Would much prefer to have Jones, Milano and White with us going against them. We could not stop Mac Jones, so how are we supposed to stop a loaded offense with Burrow hitting his stride?

I honestly feel no pressure/stress regarding this game. I don't see us winning it. I feel like we either get curb stomped, again, by this team, or we lose a very close one and we get some stupid penalty after a huge play that either gives The Bengals life, or guarantees their victory. Our healthier D last season could not stop them, so I cannot imagine our ailing D, the same one that made Mac Jones look like Tom Brady, stopping this team. Our best bet is to hope to be on the winning end of a shootout. Sorry for being so negative, but The Bengals gave us fits last year and I did not think we did anything in the off season to counteract them. Obviously, we have some things out of our control, like the horrible injuries. I don't feel good or hopeful about this one, but I am just hoping we look somewhat competitive and make a game of it.

Been feeling the same way about this. Even worse, all the tough games were clustered together. Just a brutal schedule, and so tired of playing the really good teams on the road all the time. Going to KC, Philly and Cincy is just brutal.

So, this 9ers defense that is supposed to be soooo great just decided to curl up and die today, or what? I get that The Bengals have a good offense, but they aren't getting any pressure. What scares me is their D is better/healthier than ours, and I don't even want to think of the carnage.

Would it kill any of these NFC teams to give us a hand once in a while? Week after week I keep hoping for this, but it never happens. It's maddening!
