  1. Be careful, you are going to upset the "we let the Chiefs take Mahomes" crowd 🙄
  2. How does this make sense and what does it mean? If those teams don't have a good defense, and The Ravens allegedly don't have a good defense, what went wrong? Why were we able to score at ease on three "bad defenses" but not on the allegedly worst one?? How does this make sense? Can we just admit Baltimore is a really good team? They always are. I don't care what stats say about their defense. I watch them enough to see how physical and tough they are. I saw what they were doing to Dallas last week, till they took the foot off the gas. They are a tough, physical team, and we had no answers for them.
  3. So just ignore what we saw the first three weeks on offense then? The Ravens obviously came in prepared and were able to do to us what they did to Dallas the week before(though Dallas had a little better of a comeback). I am going to wait and see how the next few weeks go before I decide this offense is a disaster or not.
  4. Okay, so we just disregard the first three weeks of what we saw from the offense? I hate to break it to you guys, but sometimes we play "bad defenses on paper" and still get stifled. Look at the infamous Jags game in 2021. It happens. If it KEEPS happening, then I get it.
  5. Damn, and I am usually one of the more negative ones here. I think Shakir is pretty effing awesome. I don't get this take at all. Honestly, the offense had been lighting it up for three weeks straight. One dire game is not going to make me think this offense sucks suddenly. I need to see how they adjust before I start thinking that. Baltimore's D was just TOO good and we had no answers for them.
  6. It's too bad we had to meet up with The Redskins that year. I wish we could have gotten one of the non NFC East teams in the SB, like the Niners. We did actually beat them in a shootout the following year. Just feel like we would have matched up better against them.
  7. Going into the game, I felt they would do just that. Our run D is weak. Honestly, I don't know what this defense is. I mean, I think I have an idea, and it's not very good, but I seem to make people angry when I say this. I felt it would be weak coming into this season, but they tightened up against Arizona, and we allowed little points the next two weeks, but it felt more like blunders on Miami's offense(Tua and his int's) and Jacksonville did not look great. I never really felt like our D was dominating and felt they would get run over in this game. They did. I just don't think they are very good. They kind of can be if we start off with a lead, but we can't count on them to bail us out(they did have some moments tonight though, and of course Brady blundered big time). I am hoping when we get some key players back, the defense looks a lot different. I want to know why year after year Pittsburgh and Baltimore always have a great defense. Hell, even The Chiefs have joined the party. Our offense isn't always going to light it up, so it would be nice to have a defense that could help when our offense stalls.
  8. Even when we had a "good defense" in the Josh Allen era, they were never really good. Best was probably 2019. 2020 was pretty bad, but our offense made up for it. 2021 was paper tigers and we lost Tre'. 2022 pretty good, but then Von went down, Von being the guy we went out and got to put us over the top! 2023 was devastated by injuries. 2024, more injuries on top of what feels like our weakest defense yet. It's just so frustrating. Bad defense is what ruined possibly two SB runs in 2020 and 2021. It's unacceptable. I will give credit to Sean and say he can coach some average players and have them make plays, but looking at teams like KC, Baltimore, San Fran and Pittsburgh, it's depressing.
  9. I get you and agree with you, I think for a lot of us it's just how we lost this one. It was so ugly. I want the team to at least be in it. If we can bounce back next week it will ease a lot of this pain. I feel we either bounce back or go on a freefall. I think I am most concerned about how we looked against a "legit" team, though we had some chances here and there to make it competitive, I guess.
  10. y I have been frustrated with him. I really feel like Josh was his big hit out of the ballpark, but it's been little after that. Just wasting Josh's prime. It's sad.
  11. Thank you for the date. I remember watching this game in the basement with my dad and brother. We were all mortified. The chant the fans do did not help, but I do remember how Bills fans got revenge in the divisional game and did the stupid chant. I did not know what to expect going into that game, but was not expecting that.
  12. Honestly, I can see Stroud and co. completely going off next week on us 😒Watch them have a special gameplan just for Diggs.
  13. I will never forget the 1991 loss in Arrowhead, where I was first introduced to that ridiculous chant! It was a long night. I don't remember the score, I wanna say 38-3 or something ugly like that. Christian Okoye ran all over us.
  14. I had said, much to the chagrin of many people in here, that I thought it was sad that in the year he is 28 years old, he has some bargain bin team. I mean, it's just mortifying. When does he get a super team built around him?? I feel like he will be like a Matt Stafford and go somewhere else to get a SB win. Partly because we are cursed, and because the team around him is a okay to good. Being generous here.
  15. Okay my heart just went in my throat!
  16. I was so defeated in that moment, I was like "whatever", and now I am really sad.
  17. Me too, or just an arm punt in hopes that maybe one of our guys catch it.
  18. Now I am really bummed we did not get points before the half!!
  19. I really thought that was going nowhere! Happy to be wrong.
  20. Do you guys think we can get 5 yards??
