Well there you go guys. Good thing there are so many expert problem solvers in this forum. All Josh has to do is focus on Football more, work out more, yell at his teammates more, and all our issues are over. You know, I bet if he focuses on Football more in the off season, we will no longer have our defense collapse every time we get a lead. That is right, Josh works more with Palmer, we no longer have to worry about McDermott playing it safe/not to lose, our defense will suddenly learn to put a game away once we get the lead. I hope Josh is in here reading this. Look, I am not saying he cannot make room for improvement, maybe start making more effort to take care of his body etc. Nobody is above room for improvement, but at the end of the day, he has about 5 times this season walked off the field with the lead and less than a minute left, and the defense could not stop the other team. If you think the work he puts in the off season suddenly fixes this trajectory, you do you. Meanwhile, Chris Simms at the 4:50 mark is spot on!

Completely disagree. I have watched enough Allen videos from his early days to current, and the man lives and breathes Football, and you can see how personally he takes losses. I don't think people put into account how mentally taxing this stuff is. I don't think people think about, when you put it all on the line, leave it all on the field, and keep coming up short it no doubt messes you up mentally. I can't even begin to imagine what 13 seconds did to him, especially after that performance, and to constantly be let down. He tries to control the outcome as much as he can(and sometimes it hurts the team, yes) but he can only control so much and it is probably devastating to lose when you left it all on the field. If you think he is not feeling the pressure of trying to get to a SB and win one, for this City and himself, I don't know what to tell you, and how terrible it most likely feels to keep coming up short. As far as I can see, he's not some flashy guy who goes around flaunting his wealth. I think he takes Football very seriously and isn't just about a paycheck or flashy life. People harp on him so much for his off season and want to use it as some excuse for why we don't get it done, meanwhile I am thinking he golfs and spends time with his GF in the offseason so he can center himself and not have a damn mental breakdown!

My new favorite flex is pooping on him for not winning in O/T. Okay, so I guess he's not clutch, even though he has gotten the team the lead towards the end of regulation? How many times this year did he get the team the lead with less than two minutes ago? How about the 13 seconds debacle? He has brought the team back from dead numerous times, but it doesn't count? It only counts in overtime? Alrighty then!

I expected it. I expected it before the game even started. I suspected it would be close, and how do we fare in close games? I never let my guard down, even when we were up by 10. I knew the hammer was coming. I expect this against The Chiefs as well, and probably the Cowboys. We need to score and get the lead with 1 second on the clock to win these close games.

Really, because I have watched a lot of talking head shows this morning, and they say when Josh is ON, he is the best QB in the NFL.
-
Uh, yeah, and he has!! Did you see the Bengals/Chiefs AFCCG game where Mahomes threw the INT in OT? Oh wait, how about the game vs us last year in which Mahomes threw an INT in the 4th, sealing the win for us.

There are some trolls and fans in here that would prefer to go back to the drought era, where it's safe and they don't have to worry about their feelings or Sundays and Mondays being ruined. A world with no hope for a SB is safer for them. I really think it's what it boils down to.
-
Yeah I get it, but really, I am not mad at a defender doing whatever, I am mad at refs for not calling it, as usual.
-
Darius Slay on Josh Allen. He is impressed, and also comments on how ***** the media is toward Josh and how unjustified it is.
-
He is, but I don't think he really ever left. Outside of the INT, he was on fire today, and he should have been given a chance to make some plays with 20 seconds left. Remember when we did so against The Lions last year? He threw a dart to Diggs, bum shoulder and all, and we got in GF range and won. I don't think McDermott trusted him. I think that is what it boiled down to.

I am with you 100%. I have considered him best thing since Bill Polian, now I am second guessing. Polian went and got Kelly some great weapons and OL. I would kill for a Howard Ballard on OL. He is too content to rely on Josh to do magic and not get him the proper help he needs. His drafts are hit or miss, but I think Kincaid is a hit.

Where does ill advised turnover rank?

This is a 13 seconds-esque collapse. I know JA will get heat for his lone INT tonight, but my god this coaching team fails him over and over again.
-
Why can't we ever catch a break?
-
We had a failed off season. Freaking Beane decided to roll with Gabe again and not get Josh more help. We had some horrible injuries so he gets a pass for that, but we could have had better help.
-
That Davis miss hit me just as hard as the fg miss with 12 men on the field. Just pain.
-
I'm so sad for our team, and our City and just everything. We aren't allowed nice things. Nothing comes easy for us.
-
He will get it. You know he will. Bass misses some 40+ yard ones and this jerk will get the 60 yarder.
-
We do this every single time. Every single time. I don't wanna hear about the offense anymore. How many more games are we gonna lose after we get a lead and need the defense to stop the other team? It's maddening. At this point we will be so lucky to go into OT, which is prolonging our agony.
-
Guys, for maybe the 5th time this year we have to rely on our defense to come through for us. It has not really happened. We had some luck against The Giants and Bucs, but the Pats and Broncos? This game? I cannot handle this.
-
It's over. We got to have a lead for like, most of the game, only to lose again in painful fashion. I don't even know what to say about this one. For the most part, both sides played really well, for the most part. Obviously it's unraveling now. Where do you go from here? To have the lead and outplay your opponent and then lose? I think that will screw the team mentally and the rest of the season is just shot 😕
-
You just know when the momentum has shifted. We really, really needed those field goals.
-
Figured that was coming. Congrats Josh, you will now get the sole blame for this one.
-
Yeah, it's why I am choosing to just be even keeled and not even remotely get my hopes up. I have seen this before. It's a tale as old as time.
-
Oh you know it will. That is also a guarantee. Not even in just the media, but this message board.
