Burton has done some great flicks. As far as WOTW goes, I hope the Fantastic Four movie blows its@## out of the theaters in July.

I've read the complaints hear for a couple of years and really didn't agree until this past week. I was yelling at the anouncers from my couch, pissing off my wife-- they are Bills guys for gods sake! The thing that really got to me is how they kept saying repeatedly that the Dolphins were controlling the game, but it was only a seven point difference! With the role the team is on, if they don't talk up the Bills this week it will never happen. I bet they focus onthe missery of the Browns....

Buffalo will NOT make the playoffs
John in VA Beach replied to Rubes's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think it is easy to say the Bills will be on the outside looking in. One loss aand we are done, so it is not surprising to me to hear ESPN echo those sentiments. Outside of Boomer, they probably haven't even seen them play (minus the primetime embarassment). As far as getting in and playing Indi. We hit them in the mouth pretty hard last year and almost won. I'm betting that game would be a lot closer than people would think. -
Game of the Week question
John in VA Beach replied to John in VA Beach's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Sorry for the confusion. I am reffering to the NFL Network show. -
How does the league decide what two games are the game of the week. I'm assuming it has to be a game that was broadcast in HD? When I was younger it used to be whatever they thought was the most closely contested battle, but it seems now that the score is not as relevant as the hype for a game. I think we have a better chance of seeing the shtty packers game over the bills this week.

I was pretty shocked that the CBS halftime show raved about the excitment of the Colts game and then just gave the score of the Bills game with no highlights, which by the way was a much better game.

This story popped up last time ND had a vacancy. Lenny might just be stirring the pot with old news..

I think were a middle of the pack team too. However, for me any pick outside a top 5 justifies JP. With the shortage of QBs in this years draft, no way would we have finished bad enough to get a star on the rise. Bottom line, IMO Donahoe made the right move last year.

Black players in particular should heed
John in VA Beach replied to erynthered's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don't really disagree with some of the guys premise, But I will say that his stance to some extent implies that Stern would have went easier on a bunch of white players beating the crap out of fans. I disagree completely. -
The Value of the Drew Trade.....
John in VA Beach replied to CJPearl2's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think Drews trade value is lower now than when the Bills and Cincy were the only teams interested in him a few years ago (I know price tag was an issue then, but today it is a skills issue) -
The Value of the Drew Trade.....
John in VA Beach replied to CJPearl2's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Whether or not the trades have worked out, no one can say the front office is not trying to get good players in Buffalo. The problem in my opinion is that they do not do a good job of evaluating how the name players we have will create a winning chemistry. To me that is Donahoes major shortcoming. -
School me if Im wrong, please
John in VA Beach replied to JP-era's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think the Bills are mathematically closer to being the worst team in the league than making the playoffs. -
This Season is Now Over
John in VA Beach replied to BenchBledsoe's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Because Lossman basically needs and extended preseason to proove to himself mentally that his leg is okay. Six games are plenty for that. He can learn the offense play at game speed and come in as the clear #1 in the offseason. -
This Season is Now Over
John in VA Beach replied to BenchBledsoe's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
New England takes the life out of Bledsoe everytime we play. Not only do they beat us they psychologically kill our QB. He will be inefective and suck for a few more weeks. I bet we see JP about week 10, when the playoofs are way out of the question. Thisyear Bledsoe had everything he needed to show it wasn't his fault last year, but he didn't do it. I think Bledsoe should be gone next year--not just on the bench.. I like Bledsoe as a peron and wanted him to succeed, but he doesn't and it is time to move on. We need to beat the best and if we can't, we should move on to the next player to see if they can. -
How about those TV Announcers ?
John in VA Beach replied to Surfmeister's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If the Bills won we would hve heard a final period of how much Bledsoe was rejuvinated and the McGahee factor. The Bills got what they deserved by sucking so badly from start to finish. -
Can you blame MNF for not putting us on?
John in VA Beach replied to Justice's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I remeber reading that the MNF philosophy was to get two good teams and make the better team go on the road to help ensure a close game. Obviously this prime time philosophy does not pertain to the Bills. -
Didn't see this posted yet: Dolphins loose coach. Oops.. sorry for the double post, I didn't know this was second page news already.

This situation will work itself out on the field. Naming both starters IMO is really emarassing...kinda like saying we have two #1 QBs....
-
So if the playoffs expand to say 30 teams, we have a chance?

Bills-Miami Comparison from Bakay
John in VA Beach replied to ChevyVanMiller's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Thanks for posting. Very funny. -
Agree 100%. We need a better line, but a young QB was the priority and I think/hope we got a good one. Also agree that I'd rather pick up an experienced lineman through free agency than a hit or miss, wait to develop, draft pick.

Turn Blesoe, Moulds and Evans loose
John in VA Beach replied to Mickey's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If the Bills go away from the run early it opens the flood gates on our below average O line. Their pass plays could be more down the field, but more passing plays could pose doom. -
Evans and McGahee are Buffalo Bills
John in VA Beach replied to 1billsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Evans got the nod Sunday and I don't think that will ever change. I agree the three newbies look to be a lot of fun down the road.....Now TD, go get us a stinkin line! -
(SUW) Greatest Mainstream American Rock Band
John in VA Beach replied to Zamboni Man's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Ian aside, no way were embrace or Fugazi better the Minor Threat. Very glad MT got posted here. For me, Black Flag was a top fav too. I still listen to punk. These bands gave my aggression an outlet when I was younger. For the most part now I get out my aggression swearing at the TV Sunday afternoons... -
Bills likely play Ravens without Jamal Lewis
John in VA Beach replied to BenchBledsoe's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If they can't win that game 6-3 or something like that, I give up. Kyle Boller and the rest of that Raven team are a bunch of hog o' lots. Nuff said. 58360[/snapback] That game is in Baltimore and I expect their D will score more points than our O. Last night aside, they are a very strong intense team.
