After seeing 4 QB's in the wildcard game...
John in VA Beach replied to Hardy Pyle's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
We beat three of the four this year! Your argument makes little sense to me. last night we saw four slightly above average teams and we could (and should) have beaten any of them. I'm not fighting for Drew, but it is hard to take into consideratin the level of competition last night and assess much. We will see true power house teams and QBs starting today. -
On Empire. Part of the Empire presents series.

Does anyone think we move into the first round?
John in VA Beach replied to freester's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don't think he moves up, but am confident that Td will make a move if it makes good sense. I don't think he is going in with idea of getting back into the first round just to do so. I see our needs as TE, OL and PK, of course a monster pass rusher is always nice too-- and we need some depth. I don't think we draft a pass rusher early. If TD goes for a pass rusher, I hope it will be a prooven commodity in FA. However, a TE, OL and especially quality kicker can be aquired later in the draft. -
Are you AFC East loyal in the Playoffs???

Packers. Don't like any other afc team. -
Darin, I actually meant when Bledsoe ran it this year. John

When the bills ran the hurry up in san fran, who called the plays? Did they come in from the bench? Regardless, you don't hand the keys for your car over to your kid unless they proove very compitnent. Manning is an offensive genius bledsoe really is not.

I have no doubt considering how quickly the coaches gave McGahee the green light when healthy that they will pull Drew when the time is right too. Wyche and Clements know what they are doing. The organization is very fortunate to have them. The Bills know winning is the bottom line and if JP gives us a better chance, he will be in. If however Bledsoe is starter for 2005, don't be foolish enough to think it is because he is a good guy. Football is a business and Donahoe knows this.

Did anyone see the look on drews face yesterday
John in VA Beach replied to bb63's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That play was the backwards pass that McGahee scored on earlier in the season. The play was never supposed to be a handoff it was a fake. Drew gave a crappy pass onthe play. It was poor execution--not a blown play.... even the announcers were confused. -
One eye-opening loss is all it takes...
John in VA Beach replied to Rat-boy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Agree with you completely. I thought about the game and realized we got beat at every phaze of the game--O, D & special teams. The exact opposite of how we won the last six. I don't know if Drew can still win a big game, but to blame this loss on him is riddiculous. He didn't play well, but neither did anyone else. -
It didn't take TH long to run his mouth

I've got to agree that Travis has every right to want out. Remember most of us were shocked when McGahee was drafted just like Travis. He had a point to make to the organization at this season's conclusion and used the media to make sure it doesn't go away until rectified. We have a better back in McGahee, but Travis has carried this team in the past. -
Exhibit A of a Selfish Player

I watched the end of that game and Alexander looked POd on the sideline. The announcers kept saying what a travesty it was that he would not get the opportunity for the rushing lead. I kept thinking to myself, these guys are trying to win a division title and home playoff game and all they are talking about is this jerk getting a yard? What an a-hole. Alexander actually looked disapointed when the falcons missed the two point conversion to send the game into overtime. -
Let's Go No Huddle to start the second half!!
John in VA Beach replied to AirBledsoe11's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I was thinking the same thing. Pitt is playing the scrubs, so lets get them confused. I think we need to stuff McGahee down their throats too. -
Irvin is a moron and probably thought that was the correct way to spell believe. I saw the shirt on two NFL network shows this weekend. Man, what a marketing bonanza for the Bills. I bought two myself...

Hoping the steelers play to win
John in VA Beach replied to MartyBall4Buffalo's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
We will get hopefully four weeks in the playoffs to show how we stack up against the best. The key is to get in, and I don't care if we play a college team to get there. I agree with the others who state the steelers are not going to role over and die regardless, the bills need to take the win from them. When you get two good teams there is a lot of pride on the line and steelers may be the best team in the league. -
They played an NFC team this week....

Bills game not in HD again!!!
John in VA Beach replied to tjwbills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The Cincy game last week was CBS' last game on the depth chart even though it had playoff implications for both. I expected last weeks to be in HD, but this week the matchup is not very national in scope. Look at it this way, all four our playoff games will be in HD! -
Does a Steelers win eliminate...
John in VA Beach replied to John in VA Beach's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Thanks for all the info guys. -
the Ravens from the post season? I thought I read that it does, but that makes no sense because if all 8-6 teams loose this week, they are still in the hunt right?

YESSSSSSSS, Pats win....
John in VA Beach replied to CentralVaBills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The Steelers will play a lot of lip service to playing tuff regardless and I don't expect them to role over and die the last week of the season, but if things are wrapped up for them, no way do we get an A game from them. No one wants to show too much to a potential playoff opponent and no one wants to get injured. It also lets us keep some Mularkey gadget plays a secret until we need to use them on the road in Pitt. I bet he's got some plans for the Steelers. Personnally I think we beat them regardless of situation. Out of the big three in the AFC, I think we match up the best with them. As a matter of fact, if we get the last spot, that is most likely who we play in the divisional. Only good things come if they have home field wrapped up next week. -
I doubt they can do it twice.

Clear something up for me
John in VA Beach replied to Jbfalcon80's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If new england drops one of the next two and the steelers win the next two, they can take the week off against the bills. -
Actually, this is some early footage. Fox is really upset it was released, it was basically given to corporations to encourage sponsorships. The final product will be a lot different. http://www.ffplaza.com/reccenter/movies/MovieFootage.wmv

Sith, Batman, Fantastic Four and WOTW come in a six week stretch. I don't see how any of those can flop, but it will be interesting to see which ones get left behind.
