  1. Amen Brother! I treasured the annual xmas cards with the regular us stamp versus metered mail! When I moved to the DC area, I used to love the annual "Buffalo Congressional Party" Democrats and Republicans use to get togather and put politics aside.... Just Buffalonian's it was great! Don't think they do that anymore...
  2. Call him Jack or Kemp
  3. I didn't want to further embarass Spider for his spelling.... glad you caught it...
  4. Great retort, again... nice move to demonize the individual rather than deal with what was said.... Is it ok to call you Olbermann now? You cannot understand why someone revered Kemp for his politics so you demonize his post by saying... "Wrong place for a political debate. Save this misguided, misinformed, and fear mongering thought for the political boards". Your actual statment was ... "Despised his politics/economics". not "diagreeing with his polictics/economics" big difference! Do you actually know anything about his politics other that he was a republican... then he must be bad! This is highly hypocritcal. There is a reason he was called a "Bleeding heart Conservative"... do yourself a favor, read up on his positions before you post.. Dare I say... you might the one who might be misinformed? Save your crude comments about Rush... He is a jerk in my opinion.... also the oxycotin comment just shows your desperation and inability to deal with someone who opposes your position.. It appears that if someone posts a comment contray to your opinion.. you attempt to discredit or demean... it does niether.. Why not just recognize what Kemp did in his life and let the other BS go?
  5. But its ok for you to say...."Same here. Despised his politics/economics, but not the man. RIP. : Typical lib hypocrit..... Kemp was a great man on and off the field, in and out of politics. He personally helped my family when my father became disabled. I owe alot to his assistance and I will never forget him.... RIP
  6. i thought rivet played for the sabres
  7. Guam... Ipay for my sons season tickets (he goes to UB) I win
  8. No matter how small a US Flag might be... I would never call it a trinket... That would be disrespectful in my opinion as it minimizes the symbolism of the Flag... At the very least, the flags from a party convention could be considered a cherished momento....
  9. I have yet to see a dignified protest were the flag was burned... not that that would be technically impossible.... but I have yet to see one. If you have a link to a video to a dignified flag burning protest please provide.... I would be very interested to see it.. but since my sense is that you are just being a chit house lawyer.. I doubt that you will...
  10. Yes... the proper way to dispose of a WORN or TATTERED flag is to burn it in a DIGNIFIED manner, keeping the worn pieces from flying about. Burning of the flag in protest is not dignified... get it??
  11. Try this.... just googled it.... www.kitchentablegang.org There seemed to be many sites... takes some effort but I know you are up to the challenge
  12. Never said that.... this is about how people treat and show respect for each other .... you obviously are in capable of doing that...
  13. So you think a worn, distinguished US Flag could be used as fishwrap?? Please tell me you are kidding... Very poor taste... Were you at the DNC?
  14. Yes when the flag is tattered..... These were not..... the flag code only talks about disposing of worn flags in a dignified manner, preferably by burning.. The point is.. these flags were neither worn or disposed of in a dignified manner.
  15. Just admit that this is not how to take care of the US flag
  16. Gee I hope thats not the case.. maybe they just hate the symbols of america
  17. Yes the Dem's have the high ground on this.... like when the accused Palin of covering up for her daughter by accusing her of being the grandmother of the 4 month old son
  18. Franciscan Education .. but, why didn't they take them home as a memento of the evening?
  19. Who let the pinks into the GOP convention....hmmmm?
