  1. Worked for United for 35 years, and their IBM system was good, and got updated. When Continental merged, United was "blessed" with their HP system, aka Cowboy Res., not nearly as user friendly, or reliable.
  2. That's as many IF'S as we usually have, but will still have to wish them luck.
  3. When I lived in Seattle, there was a chick who had M-I-S-A-G-R-O, with a license plate frame that said SPELL IT BACKWARDS!
  4. Suggest she try magnesium. I use the bottle size from Costco. They're large pills, but they work for me. Take one in the AM, and that usually gets me through the day. IF I get them PM's, just take another tablet. We use Potassium Acetate on the airport runways, as a deicer. It smells like pickle juice! $2800-3000 to treat a 9000' runway. It's non-corrosive, so FAA approved.
  5. So he's like the "drunk uncle" of Miami?
  6. It may have been a Cleveland Browns thing to do, but THEY have a better record than we do. Who would have thought???
  7. Watch the news, and whatever the terrorists drive should be OK. You'll get durability without all those stupid periodic maintenance checks. 50 cal on the roof is always an option.
  8. Who's superstitious? There must be a pre-game favorite that MUST BE EATEN if the Bills are to win.
  9. Kristen Wiig Eddie Murphy Ana Gasteyer Dana Carvey
  10. When I was working, I would come home and "need" a drink. Since retiring, I enjoy a drink BUT, the need isn't there anymore.
  11. Last December, we arrived at Washington Dulles, and it was snowing. Normally avoid the Capital Beltway, and DC mess but because of the weather, we decided that it may be the best/safest way to Richmond. Drove the Express lanes, but it cost about $55. Fair enough, it was our choice BUT what do the people do that have to do that every day to get to/from work?
  12. The Niagara is a beautiful river. Lived in the Pacific NW of 20 years, and they have a whole lot of beautiful water views too. Now we're in Richmond VA., and the James River is one moving mud hole. There's so much silt from the Blue Ridge area, that I'm wondering how there are still any mountains left, W of us? People here still pay big $$ for a "water view," but a view of what? The nuns told us that there never were any American Bison E of the Mississippi but that the French named our area Beau Fleuve (beautiful river) that eventually ended up as being called Buffalo. Now we see the Beau Fleuve Music and Arts festival, so maybe they were right?
  13. Well if he was any kind of a robot, at all, he wouldn't be a bartender.
  14. Everyone does not have the luxury of a burial at sea. You must be a real popular guy at the office.
  15. They don't have a State income tax, so maybe that's why?
  16. When the pick up's roll, does the gun in the rack go off too? Comic genius!
  17. Have your fun now, when you get older, you can't always count on them being just farts.
  18. How many snow plows does the area have?
  19. Were the 1500 "protesting," or praying for an intervention?
  20. What do you leave for a tip, tools, screws??
  21. Have to hope, whomever they are, that have somewhat higher standards?
  22. Poor kid! He'll NEVER be allowed to forget that one.
