  1. Having had brain surgery 3/19/18, my surgeon used BrainLab. Good examples on brainlab.com & the ever popular wikipedia. They do an MRI & CAT scan to create a "map," feed data that into the BrainLab program, and it actually can guide the surgeon to find and remove the problem area. Very hi-tech. abd I would say it works!
  2. What do you mean by "nothing??"
  3. Brain surgery is scary stuff! I had a pituitary adenoma. It was giving me migraine type head aches and blurring my vision. Had it removed and the head aches went away and my vision came back to the normal range. Doc said they're not cancerous, unless you have cancer at another location in your body. So now I get an MRI every year, and a check back with the neurosurgeon. Blessed that we live in a country that has health care that seems to routinely handle these type problems. Surgery on a Monday, two and a half days in ICU, then another couple days in a regular room, then home on Friday, same week. Obviously praying for Mrs Stafford. Hopefully she'll be fine too!
  4. Lipstick on a pig(s)??
  5. Fargo with a twist?
  6. He dressed funny too!
  7. We had one 2 years ago in February. Every house on our side of our street, and a few across the street got new roofs. These happen a lot in Kansas, Nebraska & Colorado but NOT in SE Virginia. Just FYI, we were impressed with Travelers & USAA for the homeowners insurance. Very organized and they even use drones to go up and take pictures of the roof. The hail was almost 2' and it lasted for almost an hour, so very slow moving storm.
  8. My first guess is Texas.
  9. Might slow the cartels and illegals down.
  10. He couldn't tweet before because he destroyed his phone.
  11. Whether we agree with the politicians, or not, as long as they hold the bonds, they hold most all of the cards. Nothing much will happen till those bonds are more fully amortized. While it's good to plan ahead on stadium options, it still seems a way off.
  12. Yes but I'm Legal. I think that makes a difference.
  13. There was NO collusion on my part! Visit the San Miguel market. Great food/wine and a great place to meet people.
  14. We were on a Danube river cruise last December, I was wearing my Sabres hat, and met a family from Lockport. That was right after that 10 game W streak. He told me maybe I shouldn't wear that hat because the Sabres lost 2. I switched to my Bills hat but in hindsight, the guy saw the future. I put the Sabres hat away but guess it didn't help.
  15. Your mother is a hamster and your father smelled of elderberries?
  16. Having lived in Washington State, I know they have no state income tax. Spokane is very average BUT the Idaho pan handle is beautiful.
  17. They hired the Italian Captain that ran his ship onto the rocks in N Italy. What could go wrong?
  18. The crew was told? Who "told" them? The contract Dispatcher, Ground Ops, the crew desk? Questions should have been raised well before the plane left the gate. Was there maybe a last minute; crew change, gate change, plane change etc., that contributed to the 'mix up?" That's not mentioned, but you have to wonder. If the crew boarded through the terminal, what did the gate signs say? Do they ever notice all the handle tags on the luggage, or maybe look at an airbill when they're on the ramp? Simply saying they "flew the plan as intended," is just trying to rationalize what happened. All the passengers "intended" to deplane at Dusseldorf! The company obviously intended that to happen too.
  19. That happens when an airline relies on low bid contractors who maybe work too many flights, for too many different airlines. Any in house person would have realized that the flight number was not correct for that segment/sector. Then you get a complacent aircrew that just look at the flight plan, and enter the same incorrect data into the flight management computer on the plane. Just because it's properly formatted and printed does not make it correct. Take-off, engage the auto pilot, and not pay attention to where the plane is actually heading. Many airlines keep the shades mostly drawn, so the passengers can use the entertainment systems, making the passengers mostly clueless. I guess none of the passengers were paying attention to the map feature in the entertainment system?
  20. Sainthood may be in your future!
  21. Having grown up in S Buffalo 50-70, I have to laugh at this. Nobody cared what was in the air then, and somehow we made it.
