  1. If you already have a "flooding problem," your solution may make it worse. You could trap water between your driveway, walkways and your house foundation. That could introduce mold in your foundation and walls. Would the raise make your garage floor lower than the driveway? That could send run-off into your garage. Obviously we can't see your problem but it seems as though you would be better served with some drainage modifications to allow the water to move away from your house and garage.
  2. He has a future at the New York Times.
  3. Must be from all the losing seasons in the first 50.
  4. 7-9 Again! It is what it is!
  5. The $4500 is not "Their Money," It's Ours and it's borrowsd to boot! Now we all get to KEEP THE CHANGE!
  6. It's difficult to understand why/how it took so long to locate and recover his remains. His Flight Orders, and the people he was flying with, should have had enough information to locate the crash site a long time ago. Rest in Peace!
  7. If being Crazy is a Crime at Laguardia they should put in a Ferry to Rikers Island.
  8. Exactly! Bag the family crap, lose the Hanger-on Russian, let's see: DUFF's, The Anchor Bar, Chef's, etc. Both the Anchor & Chef's could have carried the theme that the city is in decline.
  9. I recall that James had a Great Arm but wasn't too accurate. I don't remember that many INT's but too many Incomplete Passes.
  10. I used to go to the Wrestling Matches, on Friday nights, in the late 50's. WBEN used to film/tape them and re-show them on CH4 on Saturday Night. Chuck Healey was the announcer. It was a year or two before the BILLS, so that's about all we had to do on the weekends during the winter. I would walk from the Aud, up Main Street to the White Tower, to get the Seneca Bus out to S Buffalo. I was maybe 11-12 years old and the event would end about 10:30PM. Couldn't do that today! Sorry to see the Aud go but considering how many years it sat empty, with no plausable development plan, what could the city do?
  11. Shoulda been a Head shot!
  12. I'm curious to see how they would configure the Football field. Baseball Stadiums don't normally make a good transition to other sports. You end up with a lot of seats at odd angles and bad/odd views of the field. You're probably right about the ticket prices!
  13. You could always go with Brown, just in case they play like crap!
  14. Could be a warning sign of a near future earthquake.
  15. They'll probably trace the sight of the failure back to a previous repair or possibly even something that happened when the plane was being built. Every time the plane pressurizes/de-pressurizes it weakens a spot like that till it finally fails. When it pops it's definately an attention getter but generally the pilot just descends to 10,000' and looks for an apporoved landing site.
  16. But they do eat Aphids!
  17. Have to wonder if all the extra Police will be getting Arnold's IOU's for their overtime?
  18. It's; the place the Seneca's turned down, the home of Twin Fair and the Polish Porch(garage w/screen garage door).
  19. The 911 Call Center is where people go after they leave the drive-thru line at Burger King! It's the "service industry" with benefits! Large personnel turn-over due to the hours of boredom spiked by ocasional terror. Most center's record every word so, if you screw up, and the result is a death, or property loss, they check the tape and say GOTCHA!
  20. Likely the people who actually signed this, read it before they signed!
  21. Tell them you know Gregggggggggggggg!
  22. ABQ has DAN JIRON????
  23. Thast's because we have not had "actual football" here since the 90's!
