I remember seeing Phil Jackson, when he was a Knick's player in the 70's, leaning up against the tunnel wall, at the old Cap Center, smoking while signing autographs. Looked funny, at the time.
All this will pass! Remember a few years ago when some had a problem with Somethin for Nothin lyrics. A Toronto station played it non-stop for 24 hrs., in protest of the perceived "problem.". That was 7-8 years ago, and all forgotten now.
That's a good one but you know people outside WNY will get their shorts in a knot, because they have no idea that it's a local weather condition too.

I wish the US had sense enough to move our holiday to October, simply because the weather is generally more moderate. This to accommodate people who want/need to travel to be with friends & family.
Lived in Seattle 86-2003. For most of that time KIRO TV would delay Monday Night Football for 1 hour. So TV had a 7PM game, while radio was on at 6PM. KIRO had decided that they wanted to give people a chance to get home from work.
Eventually the NFL found out about it, and the 1hr delay ended.
