    Merry Christmas from South Virginia! We're blessed to have all that, except the snow. I'm OK with Santa keeping that in WNY.

    In my opinion, that would NOT have happened, if it were any other team but New England! IF they did that for every play, the games would take 3 days, and virtually every on field call could/would be over turned. It's a game, not an IRS audit!

    Has he discussed the "quitter" thing with his knees?? His mind may be writing checks that his body can't cash. I had a meniscus tear in 1984. Several knee scopes later, had to have a knee replacement in 2002. Problems like that don't go away, the often get worse.

    None of the above! While trying to always be optimistic, That's just not possible. Been a fan since they began and have lived in: Redskins country, Bear country, Oilers country and Seahawk land. Since there's nothing like being a Bills fan, I'm still here. Buffalo is home, even though I left in 1970.

    I feel your pain. We're on Golden Retriever #6. This one I found online at the SPCA, so not exactly sure how old he is, but after going through that a number of times, it's not easy! All you can do is your best, both for you and for your very special dog. Best of luck!

    I live S of Richmond VA. Richmond VA is a radio wasteland. No business station, the ONLY classical station is full of NPR, and after sunset all the AM stations reduce their transmitting power, so we have to rely on out of town stations. Moved out of Buffalo in 1970, so no idea what the choices are at home anymore.

    Yes we do. We have Cardinals, Blue Jays, and Gold finches, but they're not gold in winter. Occasional Blue bird and Indigo Buntings. They are good, cheap entertainment, and 2 of the 3 cats watch from inside. I know, 3 cats??? They're my wife's, and all "unplanned." We also have Golden Retriever #6, going back to '72.
