  1. It means a lot more. OK, we lost the game BUT we made the playoffs. I would prefer that we had won BUT we're finally heading in the right direction. I saw the NFL network show, and if i didn't know how our season ended, I'd swear they were super bowl bound. We have to start somewhere, and this is our best chance to do that, in way too many seasons. Go BILLS!
  2. Yes, a little too hippy-dippy for me too.
  3. No 18th century gun control?
  4. Always thought it was America's hat?
  5. Think it depends how old they are?
  6. Have not really watched MNF since it's been on ESPN, so I won't be missing him, AGAIN!
  7. He likes his doctor, so he kept his doctor.
  8. That's NEVER easy! I'm on Golden Retriever #6. He's about 10, and doing OK but you just never know. This one is the best of them all! He was a rescue, from the SPCA, probable run away. I know it's too soon, but do think about getting another one. I give mine NZYMES. Buy it on line. 1 level teaspoon over his food 1x a day. He tolerates it well, and It seems to help with the mobility.
  9. Didn't it get to be "like a box of chocolates?"
  10. That gives all white trash a bad rap! How do you cause a head on, on I-75, and "run away?"
  11. He didn't really retire, just got voted off his island.
  12. Since I don't live in the area, I have to rely on radio & TV for the games. If anything ever gets that bad, I turn it off, and immediately feel better. i
  13. August & September are generally the two best weather months. After that, the fog & drizzle settle back in, for the rest of the year.
  14. Maybe she could get Lee Marvin's nose from Cat Ballou?
  15. Don't worry, the slides are cleaned by the same people who launder the blankets on airplanes.
  16. So despite all that sh*t, how was the chicken??
  17. Fresh off the "short" school bus.
  18. Hope he has a lot of those!
  19. That's OK, if you take care of your teeth, you prevent a whole lot of other bad sh*t from getting started.
  20. If you go later in September, keep an eye on the Sabres pre-season sked. Chef's can get crazy crowded before Sabres home games.
  21. 291 Seneca St, just a little SW of Downtown.
  22. If you retire anywhere in the NE, N of Pennsylvania you'll pay a lot more in taxes. If that's not an issue, go for it!
  23. I went to HS in LA in the 60's. Guess it didn't change much between the 60's and the 80's but it's much more "up scale" now. Like Chef's, it even has parking, across the street now.
