Pencil-necked Gazoo draft grade
ROSCOE P. COE TRAIN replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Someone ought to shove that four eyed pencil necked pocket protector wearing zit faced nerd bastard in a locker again like they did for the first 18 years of his life. what the phuck does he know? tard. i love this draft. underclassmen who would have been all 1sts next season. we raped this draft IMO and we will sign all out guys early and add fiber to a team in need of it... -
Love this draft thus FAR!!!!!!! OSU guys, i think, are both juniors. Thus, their value is under where it would be next season. Both are gamers and will be there for years in a steady roll. The tackle from NCState is a specimen. Large long legs and long but and plays with GREAT balance and leverage. I liken him to art still in the middle there. tall and linear and long arms. this was a GReat move to get him for basically a 3rd which we got for henry and tennessee. all three are character types too. marv checks out there attitudes and mindsets. no more "u" or FSU a$swhipes.

A look at recent #8s
ROSCOE P. COE TRAIN replied to The Jokeman's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
i like 8, thanks for the post. those players are terrific, minus terrell who is a headcase. we could pay non top 5 salary too. jordan gross is awesome! -
Littman is hilarious. Ralph finally hired a little rat to cook the books for him. This is turning into a side show with Wilson pulling all the strings. Pity me, pity me. He pulls this sob song ever 15 years like clockwork to get a new stadium. THe Erie County tax payers are in debt up to their necks and this rich premadonna old goat wants a new stadium to furhter line his pockets? Kidding me. They should move, or simply get a better business model, starting with him taking his name off the stadium at $5 million per season.

Guy sucked. Could not cover and was run over in the box, as he was the next "Blaine Bishop." He was also very undisiplined and not smart enough to read the 46 as Willaims requested. 4 yrs out of a game he should have never been in? Well, Keon Carpenter hanged on for years, I guess this guy could too...

Has anyone heard news about Wells
ROSCOE P. COE TRAIN replied to BUFFALOTONE's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yes, I heard news. He is still VERY slow and no better than the two average backs on the Texans. -
We have a ton of speed at WR
ROSCOE P. COE TRAIN replied to Peter's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Indeed, you have had blind faith for far to long. Join the dark side of doommmmmmmmm. OF stinks. Who can block Jason Taylor or McGiness or Robertson or the pass rushers outside the AFC EAST? Jason Peters? Jonathan Ogden can hardly block these guys. Get a grip... -
New Mayor of Buffalo

Jimmy Griffin is back! -
1) Moving. No way. Wilson starts this crying every 15 years. He forces the city and county to kiss his a$s with threats. Typical technique to get what he wants. Unless he gives up his "books" he can't claim to be losing. Synder and Jones are money hungry SOBS, and Ralph's Good Ole Boys are almost all dead (Mara, guy from Tampa) and old (Hunt, Brown, Davis), but this does not spell dissaster. The NFL makes lots of cash with the revenue sharing %, there will ALWAYS be plenty to go around. If Ralph's daughter can't take the team b/k of tax problems (death tax) then Gollisano and others will chime in. Of course Gollisano is talking big right now b/k he wants to be elected to some political post. Ralph simply sees the 'cap" rising and he wants to offset that with more cash. Guy is a great businessman. 2) TD - where is he today? ESPN? What a joke. Guy ruined a proud francise with terrible picks. If McGahee didn't pan out, TD would go down as the worst GM in NHL history. 3) Bills will win 4 games this season. Miami and NE and even the Jets look much much better. We got a rookie QB, a hodgepodge OL, old injured LBs, no TE who can catch, no 2nd WR, no Free or strong safeties, No interior DL otherthan a 3rd round wrestler from OSU, and no left pass rushing D end. Of course our depth is pathetic to boot. Sure, all teams depth is short, but ours is 1996 low. 4) Moulds -- guy lost a step. He could not beat the 1 v. 1. Also, he could not stay healthy. Naging leg injuries and a 10 average catch aint worth $7 mil. 5) Fairchild -- this guy coached the Rams last season. A dome team with skill players at all positions. Will he use 3 WR sets and have Losman tossing balls down the seems ala Bulger? To bad Bulger has a cannon for an arm and is very savvy in the pocket and a guy with excellent touch. Steven Jackson is McGahee however. But we need Orlando Pace! Peters == Pace? HAAAAAAAAAA. IMO, Losman will flurish under Fairchild but develop bad habits by November of interceptions and throwing into double coverage. Fairchild's game is to let the QB pass to set up the run. Balanced my a$s... 6) Sam Wyche -- when he came most of us laughed. He tried to take credit for Montana. Hello, can you say Mr. Walsh!!?!?!? Boomer stiunk. He was a poor man's Jim Kelly with white hair. 7) What if Losman threw behind Wolford, Richter, Hull, Davis and Ballard and Metzelars chipping in? 8) Levy will draft 10 character guys. Special teams, good off the field players who all play with great balance and leverage and threw injuries. Canadian football types. These will be meshed in with the lot TD brought to make a 10-6 team in 2008.

the bills are definitely not going anywhere

Above the Law was an amazing Steven Seagal movie. kidding... -
Great post. I agree with much of what you said. It is hard to articulate what the Bills have been through. But you nailed much of it in your somber post. The fact is that this team is lacking an idenity and talent. But I see some light at the end of the tunnel for us. Look at Miami, who just two years ago was the dog of the league. They now have an excellent looking team and skill players at the major positions. Most importantly, they have a GREAT coach. A year ago, I posted that Saban would turn that team around in 1 season. And now we see that. We have had CRAP coaching for 9 years now. And I think that has a lot to do with our poor play and overall growth as a francise. Look for LEvy and Jauron to bring in fiber and fabric and build up the team with young players for a run in 2007. We will win 7 games this season if mcgahee stays healthy.

I'm Really Starting to Like
ROSCOE P. COE TRAIN replied to Casey D's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Hey, its all about wins. I don't care what Levy does this offseason. Come September, the team has to win. If it doesn't, then we start thinking about another avenue to pursue. The league is changing everyday, and teams that will do well are the ones who can manipulate the cap and find those 3 or 4 players at teh skill position to push them over the 10 win mark (ie, the colts: tarik glenn, manning, edge, harrison, frenney). For us to beat Miamia or the Pats we need a LT, a QB, a pass rusher, a RB (i guess we kind of have one), a kicker, and evans to be a 100 catch 1500 yard man. Is this possible after looking at what we got? Hell NO! And to boot, we got nothing ont he DE line, at safety at TE or Of guard. the QB position is a HUGE question mark. I would be surprised if we win 7 games this season and that is only if McGahee's knee holds up. -
Bills flunking the free agency test
ROSCOE P. COE TRAIN replied to gflande1's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
to hard to tell if we are flunking. but marv is old, can he stay up with the changing times? saban and vinny ceratto sure can... -
Bills sign safety Matt Bowen
ROSCOE P. COE TRAIN replied to IBTG81's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This better be for depth ONLY! Bowen rotts. Have seen him play in DC for years - HE SUCKSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS! a sh------- Kelso. -
mcKinne was on the radar too. WE could have had a left tackle, now we got nothing. was a waste. Mike williams was the biggest bust since mandrich at Off. line, IMO. i mean, he couldn't move anyone at the point of attack. what a waste. i just hope marv dosn't try to make a diamond out of a rough by trying another jerry crafts experiment

ESPN SHOW ON NORWOOD'S 47-YARD MISS
ROSCOE P. COE TRAIN replied to truth on hold's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Other keys to the game not going well for us: Otis Anderson. Guy was a force late in the game for the Giants. I still remember that uppercut he put on Kelso's cranium. How physical the Giant's LBS were with Reed over the middle. Reed that season was the slot guy from heaven. He was pimped all over the field. Belechak still preaches that pysical LB play on WRs over the middle. Brilliant. Bears tried to do it to Steve Smith this year, but failed. THe long grass made that kick harder. Norwood on turf never missed. RWStadium was turf back then. Can someone pull Scottie's turf and grass stats? It was a GREAT game anyway you slice it. Kelly was a trooper running on the final drive. Thurman slashing away with that great balance and heart and pride. Thurman may be the best Bill ever. -
My cap page is updated

Moulds - get him out of here! He is not worth the month. Mike Williams - same. That will a savings of almost $13 mil next season. -
MOULDS TO EAGLES FOR OWENS
ROSCOE P. COE TRAIN replied to truth on hold's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
problem withTO is that he wants the ball and we aint got an arm to get it there or OL time to get it there. thus, he will cost to much to have for the 55 balls he will catch. see derick mason for balt. with out the attitude. TO will cry bloody murder as he is underthrown and overthrown and etc. levy WOULD NEVER BRING A GUY LIKE THIS! -
agreed, marty can coach. he gets the most out of his guys and coaches to their talents. for a young team he is excellent. look at sd, were he jelled many talents and diverse players. i dont agree that buff has excellent talent. when i look at a team i start with the DE and OF lines, then other positions are usually a crap shoot (ie the skill positions- glamour positions) our OL has one starter, IMO, and that is teague. and he is suspect. i can name another nfl starter there. our DL is similiar. shoebel is a 3rd rusher. kelsay too. i like denney to blossom under levy. but in the middle - adams is older now and anderson and bannon should be on the worlds strongest men competition, not on a nfl field come sunday. so, with that said, we are thin in the trenches, where games are won in the 4th quarter. any team can 'hang" for a half of ball. but it is the 4th quarter where the winners pull away, keep the ball, run the clock and win on field position with excellent special teams. marv will focus on these things. TD wanted the QB, the RB, the WR, the Corner, the SAfety glamour boys. they are clearly important, but more important is that nice robust foundation and line play. it all grows from there.
-
he was a fantastic coordinator however. his blitze backages were cutting edge. thos 4 LBs with Pitt were the best in the league under him. new orleans is the arm pit of the nation, joe gibbs could not turn that program around.

the cane's or shall we call them them the "U" are nationaly known as thugs and punks. you don't know that? 1987- the combat boots? michael irvine, sean taylor, winsol jr. drug use, sex? Brian Blades and Tremain Mack, ray lewis? hello???!?!??! they are the UNLV of football. while #21, roscoe and kevin might now be, per se thugs, they are hurrican palyers who when drafter come with usually baggage and at the least a reputaion of being a-holes. contract disputed, drug use, rap sheets, etc are miami reputation nationally. teams pass on their players due to this. look at shockey. what a moron.... read: http://msnbc.msn.com/id/9078032

oh, i think the talent was average and the coaching was average. in our division - with a sound miami team and NE team and well coached jets, we had no chance. saban is a mastermidn so is edwards and so is belechek. we got MM, who the hell is he? a motivator maybe. good coaching makes teams in this league play each game with consistancy. i have seen LITTLE consistant play in 5 years now. it is like a good resturante. it is always dependable. ever order from dominos? sauce, crust, cheese, pepp is always different tasting. good players are character guys. jeff burris, henry jones, kelso, seals, bently, pike, bailey. Levy always said "one cahracter guy will make a play" when it needs to be made. the 2005 bills had NO special players IMO. that is focused on when you loose, sure. but really, who are the special palyers? all pros anywhere? spikes is hurt. milloy is old as hell. shoebel is a stat lover for himself. losman is lost. mcgahee has the intellect of a small ant. evans was a 5 yr college player who palys in moulds shaddows and will not show the desire to force eric out - as he should. TD got desparate. he called in teh maimi thugs to bring moxie and swagger aft failing with the midwest farm boy tacklers. now we got a horrible mix of "talent" levy will clean house and start with brick and mortar and then skin the skeleton. 2yrs we make the palyoffs. 2007

Levy's Changes - judging from past...
ROSCOE P. COE TRAIN replied to ROSCOE P. COE TRAIN's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
wolford played from 88 til 92 at LT. fina's time was from 1993 and onward. with crafts and ballard and hicks all chipping in. -
we are rebuilding. marty is anice rebuilder. he has a GREAT record and he wins games. only in wash did he struggle and people say he was still good there with the crap talent. marty is good with young teams rebuilding. a company guy. i would not want him for 3-4 yrs. but we are SOOOOOOOOOO thin on talent. you think we could beat New england or the colts or pitt with jesus as our coach? i dont. we couldn't beat pitt's backups in our yard last season and we had a better team then than we do now. go figure...
