  1. I can understand people voting against Bush. Really, I can. I don't like the guy either. How anyone could have voted for Kerry, though, boggles my mind. The man couldn't even define "constitutional".
  2. But who has time for their Star Wars action figure collection when they have 7000 wrestling tapes to watch?
  3. Sudoku? Talk about low standards...
  4. So if a wrestler tests positive...what does he get, an official "Attaboy! Here's some free 'roids!"?
  5. Gotta love people inexperienced in security. That's another plus in killing off these guys...the gomers that move up haven't learned the same lessons yet. Someone with 8 years in a mid-level position in al Qaeda, smart as he may be, is not going to perform as well as as the dead guy he's replacing that had been fighting since the Soviet invasion. It greatly increases the odds of their making a mistake and providing good info...witness al Zarqawi's boneheaded announcement of "...four suicide bombers..." in Jordan before the Jordanians let slip there were only three, which led to the capture of the fourth and broke all sorts of info I'm sure. Zarqawi's a smart guy otherwise, by all appearances...but experience tells.
  6. Gee, let's see...you provide a link to a story about people talking about the budget. I...look at the actual budget documentation from the GAO. And herein lies the problem...you think the budget is a bunch of guys being quoted by CNN. It's not. And THAT is why you're still a fool who can't discuss it intelligently. Read a primary source for once in your life.
  7. Good thing it was a no-bid contract. If it had been put up for competitive bid, no one else would have been dumb enough to touch it, and they could have named their price and actually turned a profit.
  8. It was apparently an intercepted cell phone call where someone referred to him by a known alias that pinpointed him at a given location. Read that in some article or another...and it's consistent with most of the other successes (i.e. cell phone intercepts).
  9. And B word about how you should be treated with respect. It's the PPP version of welfare.
  10. FLIGHTSUIT! NOSE PICK! GOAT STORY!
  11. And I just checked the Congress web site...that's the ONLY bill he introduced in his entire 20-year career. On the other hand, each of the budgets the White House has submitted since 2001 has shown an increase in the VA budget over the previous year. Since '01, the VA's budget has increased 20% over that time, to $67B, and the amount of guaranteed home loans has increased by almost 33% to $45B. Disabilty compensation is up by 18%, medical up by 10%. All of which Kerry voted against.
  12. You're really a piece of work. You make a statement, I ask you to back it up, and you B word I'm being partisan. And you back it up from a bull sh-- site, as well. That's the best site you can find on federal legislative issues? No wonder you have no clue...
  13. Nothing I like better than a psychic football fan.
  14. And therein lies the paradox. If they'd run the ball more in teh first quarter, would it still have been "enough passing attack"?
  15. His story was an amalgam of first-person accounts I've read. Pretty much true. One of my favorite scenes in the movie too...throws Quint's obssession with sharks into clear relief, and Dreyfus' reaction ("...you were on the Indianapolis?") was perfect, and one of the best pieces of acting in the movie.
  16. There are a few decent web sites dedicated to it, including one I'm aware of that's an attempt to clear Indianapolis' captain's name. And yes, after the war the I-Boat captain did testify at the investigation, as far as I know.
  17. Well...I've got a half-empty can of Easy Cheese on my desk in front of me...though honestly, I suspect it would be wasted in a coaching position, and would make a better replacement for Bennie Anderson...
  18. I'd also like to add a thank-you for the fake QB-sneak option pass for a seven yard loss on 4th and inches. And slightly off topic...I'd like to thank Joe Theisman simply for being Joe Theisman. Why the hell is he talking about Dan Marino during the Oakland-San Diego game?
  19. I can honestly say, with no hyperbole whatsoever, that this loss is more painful than the loss of my leg to a shark attack. How's that.
  20. I believe it has something to do with ESPN getting Monday Night Football or something. Joe Theisman and John Madden. Something to look forward to.
  21. Idiot. As any true Bills fan knows, and posers like you don't seem to realize, losing to the Dolphins is never a good thing!
  22. I don't think a Jessica Alba reference gets more gratuitous that that. Nice job!
