  1. Get real. You don't have the legs to wear one of those.
  2. He was hit, retaliated, Ekuban took a soccer dive, and Villareal got caught. It happens. I'm philosophical about it. Villareal's other nine billion stupid penalties, on the other hand, are really pissimg me off.
  3. Announcers are busy watching pro bowling, I think. These guys are !@#$ing idiots. And credit where credit is due: great catch by Smith. Most receivers - Moulds, Evans, Reed, Parrish, Aiken, for example - would have dropped that.
  4. Actually, I was wondering when the Bills traded their entire defense to KC. And KC got absolutely screwed, blued, and tattooed on Amani Toomer's "touchdown" run. Yes, the tackling sucked again. Yes, when you have a guy who's down on one knee (okay, "one lower leg from the ankle to the kneecap), you should be able to put him ALL the way down. Nevertheless, he was down. Some point this coming week, KC's going to get an "Ah, sh--...our bad" memo from the league...
  5. Bitching about "*=RJ" = Cindy Sheehan.
  6. If I express an opinion, are you going to yell at me like you have everyone else?
  7. And even beyond that...even though Return of the King was a very good movie, it felt like it ended about fifteen minutes after it finished.
  8. Let me just quote the first sentence in that first link: "Since Hurricane Katrina swamped a significant portion of the nation's natural gas production..." Now, Mickey...you said: "The Unites States consumed 22.3 Trillion Cubic Feet of Natural Gas in 2003 while it produced 24 Trillion and imported another 4 Trillion while it exported .5 Trillion. I don't care if they drill the crap out of ANWR but I don't think the amount of gas is the problem when it comes to high prices this winter." So let's again review the first sentence in the first link: "Since Hurricane Katrina swamped a significant portion of the nation's natural gas production..." Hmmm...that's interesting. Let's look at those again: "The Unites States consumed 22.3 Trillion Cubic Feet of Natural Gas in 2003 while it produced 24 Trillion and imported another 4 Trillion while it exported .5 Trillion. I don't care if they drill the crap out of ANWR but I don't think the amount of gas is the problem when it comes to high prices this winter." ...and... "Since Hurricane Katrina swamped a significant portion of the nation's natural gas production..." Hmmm...VERY interesting. Could it be that, even though "The Unites States consumed 22.3 Trillion Cubic Feet of Natural Gas in 2003 while it produced 24 Trillion and imported another 4 Trillion while it exported .5 Trillion." because "...Hurricane Katrina swamped a significant portion of the nation's natural gas production..." it follows that "the amount of gas is the problem when it comes to high prices this winter" no matter what you "don't think"?
  9. Well...of course. You never do anything. It's all up to Darin and I.
  10. Sure...if you want to waste your retirement on explaining what's wrong with you. I would submit, though, that that would indicate more is wrong with you than me...
  11. Not quite that way...but yes, I've been blatantly lied to. Frequently. In my experience, it's a sure sign it's time to bail.
  12. Yeah...people will complain about what it does to the caribou, but who give a sh-- about the people? I think the argument is roughly the same as it was for the pipeline: it'll disrupt migration patterns and end the world as we know it for all eternity. Apparently caribou will be so !@#$ing blown away by the post-industrial artistic beauty of the drilling pad they'll forget where they were walking to and drop dead on the spot.
  13. So the illegal domestic NSA surveillence is going to become more illegal?
  14. Then enlighten me: how isn't it pristine? (Serious question, I'm not being a smartass.)
  15. You guys forgot to ban this account as well...
  16. You're only just finding this out?
  17. If it was anyone other than Tedy Bruschi, it's a crime. Bruschi is so underappreciated.
  18. Someone this weekend see if you can get a sign into the stadium and on TV that says "Security - Confiscate this sign".
  19. Americans believe New Zealand's looking better and better every day...
  20. It is a pristine wilderness. Just because it's a barren desert for all practical purposes, doesn't mean it's not wild or pristine.
  21. Oh...so the preparation for the 9/11 attack only took eight and a half months, is what you're saying.
  22. "Jim Kelly for general manager! Yaaaay! Yaaaay!"
  23. "Far enough in advance" based on what?
