  1. Sharpe could be describing the curling semi-finals as accurate as he's being tonight...and he's STILL better than Mr. Norman !@#$ing Einstein.
  2. If you had to describe their sh-- to national viewers, you'd be apologizing too.
  3. Eventually, at some point, suckitude in a given unit hits a certain level at which it ceases to be discrete and exhibits a sort of turbulent, chaotic, unpredictable flow that encompasses the entire team in ways that cannot be precisely defined but only vaguely defined. It's a well-defined scientific principle, in that when the density of suckitude hits a certain mathematically defined boundary point, it ceases to be discretely definable. That boundary point is called, of course, the Arizona Cardinals Boundary.
  4. To paraphrase Terico and Sharpe: "'Wins' are a nebulous stat."
  5. After getting the sh-- beat out of you by the Broncos' running game for nearly an entire half, how much fight would you have in you? If the offense have any guts, we wouldn't be bitching about how gutless the defense is now. I never thought I'd say anything so obviously conflicting...but the biggest problem with the defense may very well be the offensive line.
  6. Try looking at it as comedy. I went that way after the first New England game...I definitely benefited from the shift in attitude.
  7. The defense has been on the field for all but three and a half minutes of the second half. Yeah, they're pussies...but the crap we're watching right now is also not entirely their fault.
  8. Look at it this way: if you challenge it, maybe you get it overturned and get the ball. Probably not, but just maybe. But if you don't challenged...then you are well and truly !@#$ed as Denver controls the clock and drives even further to the end zone. I thought it was a good challenge. They certainly had nothing to lose at that point.
  9. Sharpe and Terico also said that tackles are "nebulous". Their insight into the game makes me wish ICE were here...
  10. Your confusion is understandable. You see, the Broncos have this thing that we as Bills fans aren't used to seeing. It's called an "offensive line", I believe. It often has the effect of making RBs look like they're running downhill.
  11. "Tackles are such a nebulous stat." You hit the guy. You wrap him up. He goes down. It's a tackle. What's so !@#$ing nebulous about that? Who are these idiot !@#$ing announcers? These guys are the media equivalent of TD draft picks.
  12. Yeah. I bought that excuse the first eight times.
  13. Great execution...getting the first down before the illegal forward pass for the first down. That would be THE quintessential Mike Mularkey Buffalo Bills 2005 play.
  14. The only thing that play's missing is the WR running two yards past the line of scrimmage before he throws.
  15. "Illegal shift - the entire offense". I like your first idea. An illegal formation penalty every down is only slightly worse than the yards per play they're averaging right now...
  16. Yes, that's correct. Specifically: those with packages win games. Those with no balls run trick plays and blame "execution".
  17. Of course, that's an illegal formation, which will result in a five yard penalty every down... ...which, again, isn't all THAT much different...
  18. Personally, I'd prefer seeing a couple of undersized WRs with strong arms so we can successfully run that marvelous end-around fake reverse bull sh-- !@#$tard WR retatta option pass.
  19. As I read this, Bell ripped of a 22-yard run.
  20. Hey, when you play at Anderson's level, you get to show off your man bags. When you play at a higher, competent level, THAT'S when they give you a jersey that fits.
  21. So Campbell's "blocking" on a running play...except he's facing the backfield...and he gets knocked on his ass...by the running back he's "blocking for"... What purpose does Campbell serve on this team? Comic relief?
  22. You're not hopeless. Not until you run an end-around fake reverse WR option pass. Then you're hopeless. I can't wait until this !@#$ing idiot coaching staff is sent packing.
  23. Technically, no...but it looked like the Broncos finally got the matchup they were looking for - an LB out in space on a TE with no help. Why would you sit anyone when they're playing the bills?
  24. And yet, he has 10 sacks on a line where no one consistently draws a double-team. Saying Schobel's overrated is like saying Hansen was overrated...both solid players at their position, but not Bruce Smith, and if you're expecting either of them to be Bruce then of course you're overrating them.
  25. It's Jerry Gray's definition of a "cover 2": you cover 2 receivers. So when Denver lines up three, Smith's open.
