  1. I think they just need a few offensive linemen and five officials or so...
  2. 9-21 for 123 yards and 2 interceptions. I'd say he was siginficantly worse than average.
  3. Nothing like following up the Superbowl with a lesbian shower menage-a-trois to keep the 18-45 male demographic tuned in...
  4. I didn't forget...but none of those plays directly gave or took away points (although it's a pretty safe bet that Seattle gets at least 3 on 1st and goal from the 1). The two I mentioned directly affected the scoreboard...and just those were enough to throw the game, regardless of the ones that affected field position or possession.
  5. Of course, they did give the Steelers 7 on Rothlesbooger's bootleg, and took 7 away from the 'Hawks on the interference call. So that would be 17-14 Seattle right there.
  6. Well...the refs in Detroit thought it was hilarious. Which should tell you something...
  7. On numbers alone, he was the most deserving on the field. And really, no one else was any more productive. Although I voted for Alexander.
  8. I think I saw Holmgren in one of the end zones beating the living sh-- out of a zebra.
  9. Honestly...I think as long as Ralph Wilson is alive, the Bills never win. The reason being: that scathing letter blasting the officials he sent to the league after the "Just Give It To Them" game.
  10. I voted for Alexander at the superbowl web site. Hines Ward probably deserves it more...but it's a protest vote.
  11. If he wins it, I will for ever after refer to him as "Rothlesbooger". Yeah, I know it's sophomoric. I don't care. Bad officiating pisses me off.
  12. Wouldn't surprise me. Particularly since every thing else in this game seems fixed.
  13. For 43 yards on 14 carries. I like Bettis. Have since he was a sophomore at Notre Dame. But he doesn't even remotely deserve it.
  14. BTW...Shaun Alexandar has 95 yards on 20 carries so far. Hines Ward has 123 yards on 5 catches. Either of them gets my vote for MVP. Right now I'm leaning towards Alexander, out of disgust for the officiating. But Hines Ward probably deserves it...
  15. I've seen muggings in downtown DC that were gentler than that hold. Christ, how do you MISS something like that.
  16. How the HELL did they not call holding on Rothlesberger's bootleg? It was RIGHT THERE! !@#$ing Steeler's receiver had the DB wrapped up! What, are the officials watching the !@#$ing cheereleaders?
  17. Actually, it was less terrible defense than it was a really well executed play. The real key wasn't any miscues by the Seahawks, but was both the guards sealing off the inside and outside of the lane to spring Parker. The only real Seahawk miscue was the safety taking a bad angle chasing Parker. And other than that, Seattle's defense has been reasonably good all game.
  18. IT'S STILL REAL TO ME, DAMMIT!
  19. And "Blocking below the knees" on a tackle. And Rothlesberger's touchdown run.
  20. Steve, John Madden is blind, deaf, dumb, and senile...and even HE is saying these refs suck.
  21. When he was under the review hood, someone told him "You better overturn this, it's getting a little obvious."
  22. Mine did...but Hasselbeck wasn't down yet.
  23. While that's a valid point...it ignores the simple fact of the rest of the game.
  24. Oh, my favorite play. The end-around fake reverse flea-flicker. Of course, whereas Buffalo averages a 7-yard loss on it, the !@#$ing Steelers score.
  25. Apparently, being a ref in the Superbowl requires a three drink minimum.
