Brings up another interesting point, too: if the issue is companies owned by foreign governments managing our ports, and not Arabs, how are they going to write the BS xenophobic legislation they're talking about to block DPW without blocking COSCO, without making it look racist? I imagine there's a way...but every way I think of either demonstrates the utterly racist nature of the issue, or royally pisses off the Chinese.

What's more...what is it about foreign owned companies that makes them less of a security risk than companies owned by foreign governments? You'd almost think it would be the other way around... Funny, too, that this argument is brought to you by the same people who typically argue that anything important should be a government program, and corporations can't be trusted.

The Sens, at some point in the second period, took a reported twenty seconds for a line change, for which time the Caps had a five on two advantage. And didn't score. I'm not even sure they crossed center ice. And I don't see what lowering the cost to $5 is going to do, either. Why would I pay five bucks for the privelige of drinking watered-down Bud Light at $6/glass?

I get to see them Tuesday night against the Caps. Wife's boss gave us his tickets for the game. On the ice. Behind the away goal. It'll be the first time this year I've seen them play. Good stuff. Their reference to the Bilderbergers really convinced me... Look, I make no secret of my disdain for Clinton. I think his foreign policy was sh--, and his presidency was characterized by an overwhelming focus on whoring for votes. And I think the same about his rabid critics that I do about Bush's: why make crazy sh-- like that up when their actual performance is so rotten?

And says Howard Dean in this morning's radio address on the topic: "America had a great victory this week in the war on terror." For or against the ports deal...does anyone honestly think this is a "great victory" on terrorism? !@#$ing stupid... I guarantee you, the Arab street hears that and hears "America had a great victory this week in the war on Arabs and Islam." And they'd be far more correct than Dean is.
