  1. I thought that came in option package B...
  2. Why, because gays can't drive 300 hp cars? Do you ever have any clue what you're talking about?
  3. We traded Mike Williams for Mike Williams and lint? Brilliant!
  4. Do you really think that you, of all people, is going to convince me a faggoty car is not, in fact, faggoty? This is why I think you're such an idiot. You never, ever, !@#$ing learn...
  5. "I'm gay" is far more likely to get you laid.
  6. This? http://www.subaru.com/media/image/2006/imp...nsideration.gif That's gayer than gay, that's what my neighbor used to refer to as "Spic'd out". (Note: he was hispanic himself.)
  7. Coli once suggested that BF was either as big a clown as he seemed, or a comic genius for pretending to be that big a clown. If the latter's correct...sure, BF could dream this up. Hell, he concocted retatta.
  8. That's not an "I'm gay" car. That's a "Please go out with me because I'm rich" car.
  9. Subaru as a brand is not only popular among gays, but specifically markets themselves to the gay community in major cities, as well. Which is pretty damned smart on their part. Market yourself to a demographic with a strong group identity and lots of disposable income.
  10. And a Peter Pan link. And then throw in a post from someone with three posts whining that no one ever responds to their posts. Then it's the distilled essence of TSW.
  11. Do you know where he buys them? Consumer forum... Let's welcome Barry Bonds to TSW. New members forum...
  12. It sounds like your basic assumption there is that the president himself can grant amnesty - which I would be against. I was assuming, though, that he was suggesting a change in immigration law that would allow for the guest worker program, in which case he would be upholding the laws of the country. And it's hard NOT to see reforming immigration law as a good idea, generally, considering we're having arguments about how badly its working as-is...
  13. An admin with a TRUE sense of humor would merge it with one of the Flutie threads...
  14. You could have just said "thanks" once. And how come I get the misspelled one?
  15. Thought it was closer to 60, myself.
  16. Actually, they're relatively popular cars with gay men, as well.
  17. Does anyone know how tall Chara is? And please, SOMEONE TELL ME MCGAHEE'S 40 TIME!!!!! PLEASE!!!!
  18. It could be that contemporary readers, the self-styled best and brigthest, turn to the comics for diversion, not immersion in a long-running story line. Why would any remotely intelligent person get any sense of fulfillment out ofa serial strip?
  19. Actually, fake minefields are minimal cost. Cheaper than nukes.
  20. Not cost-effective. On a per-dollar basis, "Caution! Mines!" signs would work better.
  21. Why worry? I don't think it'll help either...but is it going to hurt anything? Six thousand guys sitting in vans running surveillence equipment isn't likely to be that much of a problem either way.
  22. Normally I think the Ted Kennedy jokes are tired...but that was a pretty good one.
  23. That's hazing? When I was in college, people begged to participate in that...
  24. I don't think the guest worker program equates to "amnesty" - though I'll be the first to admit it's wide open to interpretation. My interpretation, though, is that "amnesty" is a global, no-questions-asked, forgiveness of any legal violations...basically equivalent to an umbrella presidential pardon. The work program, on the other hand, is more of a quid pro quo situation: you do for us, we'll do for you. Pay your taxes and fines, put in your time, and we'll give you citizenship. In effect, it reduces the penalty for illegally crossing the border to a stiff fine while increasing the tax and SS base... ...which, when you think about it, is a pretty smart idea all around. Of course, this administration has a long demonstrable history of taking smart ideas and implementing them atrociously...but it's still a pretty smart idea.
