Huricane Ivan may not be coming to Miami after all. The Palm Beach post just reported that Huricane Ivan just tested positive for marijuana use and faces a fine of at least $650,000 for violating the Hurricane substance-abuse policy, according to unidentified sources quoted in three newspaper stories Saturday. Ivan said Friday that he is "considering just calling off the whole thing and blowing away like Ricky Williams did". Ivan was to be reporting into the Miami area in the next few days, according to the Palm Beach Post, which first reported the alleged violation on its Web site. The Post said Huricane Ivan was appealing the test result. Ivan is expected to hear a decision on the appeal within a week, the source said. The appeal will be decided by an independent arbitrator, the source said. If he gets a favorable ruling, Ivan would be free to devistate the Miami region almost as fast as the Buffalo Bills will on December 5th.
