  1. I don't know...but this move by the Pats has me thinking they are getting ready to make a deal with someone.
  2. I agree that this secured his job for the remainder of the season. I hope that the lowering of the proverbial bar that took place the past few weeks doesn't get Ralph thinking another sub-.500 season is good enough. It needs to remain a playoff berth or find a new coach.
  3. You cannot be watching the same games as I am. I have been a fan of Lynch since before he ws drafted, but since the game at Washington, Jackson has been out-performing Lynch on a very consistent basis. I don't even need to know the stats to know that. But this season, Jackson has a respectable average of 4.2 yards per carry while Lynch averages just 3.0 per carry. And last season, Jackson had a 4.4 average versus Lynch's 4.0. Jackson finds and hits the holes smoothly, turning and churning up-field. While Lynch seems to find contact with defenders at the LOS every carry.
  4. I stand by what I wrote -- they won so we wouldn't give up and so we could be let down even harder later. No rest for the wicked. That was the first half.
  5. Plus, the Bills love keeping us fans just hopeful enough that we let our guard down ever so slightly so they can reach in and stomp our heats again.
  6. Anyone know if the Bills fans won? I have no desire to watch anyone else in Buffalo blue lose.
  7. Damn.
  8. I am sure that helped...not.
  9. Ha ha. If this is true, the Packers should only be pissed at themselves. Clubs take risks like this too often, and no one should blame a team in need that takes a player another team decided to do next to nothing to protect.
  10. The worst clock management imaginable for an NFL team. Parcells has to be livid.
  11. I have terrible back spasms quite often, but with the right dosage of a muscle relaxer and ibuprofen, no worries...
  12. Thank you! We have a bit over 30,000 right now, so I no need to head to the bunker yet.
  13. I am one of the organizers of the first-ever Virtual March on Washington for Veterans. If you care about veterans, please check out the site, register and e-mail your lawmakers. Thanks! http://march.dav.org/
  14. I agree with you, Mike. Trent had a hell of a game. He put the team on his back and carried it as far as he possible could. Bad mistakes by others not by him cost us the game tonight.
  15. Youare showing you don't know what you're talking about. Trent just played a freking Pro Bowl caliber game. Don't forget this was Maybin's first NFL game.
  16. I think this just shows us we need to be ready for a sea-saw season that ends five yards short of the playoffs.
  17. Oh, damn...I forgot this isn't preseason anymore.
  18. Disappointed that the list includes Ellis and Lankster, especially since Florence is out.
  19. Best version I found: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZpIiiokxzLg
  20. In that case, you are now crowned the smartest poster ever. Thanks for telling us so.
  21. Did Soprano get a hold of T.O.'s Twitter account?
  22. Anyone else think the lip service Ellis is getting is, at least in part, designed to send a message to the Maybin camp?
  23. OK, now the thread is a success.
  24. Come on, maybe one, possibly two posters seemed to take it almost seriously. That's not success, yet.
  25. Poz is a cancer.
