  1. Dan Snyder owns Johnny Rockets. Just saying.
  2. We have a lot of undersized guys, especially on the defensive side of the ball. It seems to me there will have to be a good deal of overhauling the roster this offseason. But we all know only so much can be done in one spring.
  3. I appreciate your attitude through all this. You were right, and I will give you the benefit of the doubt next time around. That said, I hope you come back and post again when you have some good info. So, does this mean Marty Ball in Buffalo?
  4. Mort reports it is Buddy Nix.
  5. Don't be offended by the skepticism. First, we have had a LOT of posters claim to have inside info all to come up empty. Second, it says you registered here less than a week ago. Lastly and most significantly, I have heard from several people who are paid to get the info you claim to have that they have nothing so far.
  6. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2009/...aming-a-new-gm/
  7. Sounds like a plausible one. But they'd leak that so as to not garner this much buzz, as that would be bad news for the team.
  8. And ticket sales next year drop through the floor. I don't think so. I hope not, at least.
  9. I think it is going to be that Russ is relinquishing some of his responsibilities but will stay on in a non-football operations capacity, and Ralph will come out to publicly say the hunt for a top-notch GM is now in full swing.
  10. At Rich Stadium on November 29, 1987, against the stinkin' fish. Jim Kelly threw a pair of TDs and Dan Marino was picked off three times. I had no voice at the end, when the Bills won 27-0 in what I believe was the first time Miami had been shutout in some ridiculously long period of time.
  11. I recall that McGahee had insurance on his legs when he took that hit in the bowl game.
  12. I agree that there is a great deal of pressure on the Bills to sign Shanahan this week or start looking elsewhere. That said, if he leaves without a contract, I am not going to panic as there are several other very good candidates. But I do want someone who has proven himself as a very good head coach already. We are too desperate to risk any more than we have to. I keep thinking about the fact that the current state of the team is abysmal. I am not sure a top-tier coach such as Shanahan would want to jump right into this situation, tied to the current roster simply due to the inherent limitation this late in the season. Maybe he'd like to come in as head of football ops now with the unannounced plan to appoint himself head coach at the conclusion of the season.
  13. It is going to be very interesting as to how the incoming coaching staff will view him -- to keep TO or not.
  14. Someone forgot to tell the Bronco's online team that Shanahan is gone: http://www.denverbroncos.com/page.php?id=3...p;contentID=415
  15. And I will take Schefter's reports about Shannahan over any other journalist out there as the two wrote a book together, so it is highly likely Schefter spoke directly to Shannahan before reporting this.
  16. Semper Fi!
  17. THE biggest reason speculation about this has little to no merit: There will be someone new calling the shots at OBD by the time Vick is let go by Philly. Yeah, so it seems our current regime considered Vick, but no one knows who will be leading the new regime. Until we do, there is no sense in guessing what the new regime will be willing to do personnel-wise.
  18. Steve Christie and Adam Lingerer are among his facebook friends.
  19. Nelson needs to play (if he can)!
  20. +1 -- This is going to set us back further than our coaching situation or anything else really.
