  1. I think that is worth a lot, as it casts an even darker shadow of doubt on all the speculating reports out there saying Cowher will not come to Buffalo. I'm not saying he will, but this suggests no one but Cowher knows what he is considering at this point.
  2. I see this as just a respectful hat-tip from Ryan to Schottenheimer.
  3. That is quite telling, considering the Bills can hire him but not announce it until Minny is done.
  4. I do not see how the Seahawks are that much more attractive than the Bills. And, as I posted a little while ago, Seattle is a much longer flight from North Carolina than is Buffalo.
  5. I am fascinated not just by some of the content in this thread but also by how under the radar much of it is flying: * Logan is saying Jim Kelly is deeply involved in the pursuit of Cowher * Logan is involved in the same youth football program as Steve Tasker and son -- and someone created an account today just to point out that tidbit when EZC brushed by the subject * The image Logan is using for his Twitter account is obviously bogus
  6. Flights from his home in N.C. to Buffalo = just more than 90 minutes From N.C. to Seattle = Six hours (plus time change)
  7. Logan has since tweeted that Kelly's involvement is not negotiations. It would make sense if he were helping the Bills sell Cowher on Buffalo.
  8. That also was my thought at first, but it seems more like he is reporting Jim Kelly is very involved in the negotiations with Cowher. EDIT: Logan has since tweeted that Kelly's involvement is not negotiations.
  9. Is that a future NFL Hall of Famer on the coaching staff?
  10. Play for the TD, damn it.
  11. OK, I am not logging onto that other message board. Why is it being referenced as a source? Did Chris Brown post there again?
  12. As much as I hate to say it, it probably works out better for the Bills if the Dallas wins, which they probably will. And I agree, Reid is safe regardless of the outcome.
  13. Browns or Raiders? Hell, that would be embarrassing.
  14. Thanks. He posted it on the message board?
  15. I cannot log into that board (and I wouldn't want to), and I cannot find anything like that on Chris Brown's blog or the team's official site. Where did Brown report this?

  17. I'd happily work for you, Coach. I work with 9- and 10-year-old linemen now, so I am qualified to help you resurrect the Bills! Maybe Bill needs an assistant?
  18. Are you volunteering?
  19. I love hearing these guys hedging their bets. It has me thinking they are hearing conflicting reports from sources they both consider reliable. Hope is still alive.
  20. What's wrong with Flutie? I'd happily take a larger version of Doug.
  21. Where does that shot at Trent come from? Last offseason he worked he worked with Drew Brees.
  22. Again, I don't follow college ball, but from reading your post and several others like it, I'd think Tebow had a terrible game yesterday. But the reality is that he put up 482 in the air with a grand total of 533 yards (more than anyone in the history of the Bowl Championship Series). Oh, and he had four TDs. I just don't get how someone so slow and limp armed ends up winning the Sugar Bowl with those type of stats. I am not arguing here, just trying to understand.
  23. First off, I don't pay much attention to college football (I don't have the time), so I will presume you guys are correct about his big windup, inability to read zone coverages, etc. But what I don't understand is how this guy, who sounds like most posting in this thread see Tebow as way less than stellar, has won two national championships and a Heisman. He put up huge numbers yesterday, but that is dismissed by saying Cincinatti isn't any good -- yet, they were ranked #3? As for the whole thing about Tebow having all kinds of protection yesterday, I noticed at least one of his TDs yesterday was throw with defenders in his face.
