  1. I do not think T.O. counts as he was not simply unsigned.

  3. Good points, abqmarko. If the Bills had hired Pioli and the brought in Chan, everyone would be saying this must be a genius move no one else was smart enough to make. If the Bills had hired Cowher as the head coach, and he hired Chan to revamp the offense, everyone would be happy as hell.
  4. That is not what he said. I wasn't a Joe Logan fan, but to be fair, he simply called into question media reports that Cowher was definitely out of the realm of possibility for the Bills. He said he had a knowledgeable source that claimed the Bills and Cowher were still in talks and that nothing had been ruled out. In the end, he was neither proven correct or incorrect. We still do not know how the Bills' alleged pursuit of Cowher went or even if there was a real pursuit.
  5. Excellent work!
  6. OK, I looked at John's article as AP moved it, and I looked at the version posted on ESPN. The only difference was that the ESPN piece has three extra graphs at the bottom on the Guy firing. Well, those three graphs come from John's article titled, "Bills release pro personnel chief, Guy." So, the entire article on ESPN, labeled as "ESPN.com news services" and bearing Tim Graham's photo, was written by The Associated Press' John Wawrow. Incidentally, Tim filed his own, short piece about Guy getting the axe, but that text is not what was included in the in the main article in question here.
  7. Agreed, unless ESPN's crew went through John's piece, adding pertinent information. I need to go look at the article that moved on the wire.
  8. I would say that the way this is put together, it seems ESPN is claiming that they at least did a write-through. Note, it say only that, "Information from The Associated Press was used in this report." Of course, as of which I am sure John is all too aware, writing for a wire service guarantees much of your work will be seen without your byline. That, in part, is what ESPN pays The AP for. Aside from all that, I like the article a lot. True, those of us who follow this closely pretty much knew this info. But this was needed in light of the reports yesterday that the new crew at OBD is already set on keeping Tren in the starting slot.
  9. Only one QB in the first round?
  10. Why not? I say treat it like pulling off adhesive tape. From your chest.
  11. Was it mandatory to use the Bills' feed? Was there a poll rule or could they have used their own equipment?
  12. Agreed. I noticed, and I hope you being busy is a positive for you. I look forward to reading your thoughts.
  13. Yeah, I think Thurman just dropped another 11 spots on the list, as his tweet was promptly followed by Gailey saying no staff has been assembled other than saying he is calling the plays himself. Yeah, Nevergiveup seems to be the real deal.
  14. I'll take that aggressiveness over what we had with the last regime.
  15. "Who wouldn't want to come here? Maybe some people have personal reasons... Hey, I am glad, because I get to come here. Great!" :wallbash:
  16. WTF? Thurman said Chan told him today that he has his staff in place.
  17. Really, BB.com had to yield to the NFL Network?
  18. He calls the GM buddy?
  19. Is that a shot at Joe Logan or what?
  20. Yeeeee-haaawww!
  21. Indeed. Any insight on who will appear once the smog machine kicks on? I am, of course, talking about our future OC and DC.
