  1. Two years, $13 million. Per Schefter, the real number is one year up to $3.75 million
  2. I'll be switching back and forth, like most I suspect. But most importantly, I will be on Twitter, as numerous teams last year broke the news of their picks via tweets before the commish announced them.
  3. Another report saying McNabb has NOT spoken about which teams he does or does not want o play for. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2010/...on-about-teams/
  4. I understand your comparison, but McNabb has a lot more tread on his tires than Drew did when he rode into Buffalo. I also think McNabb has a more competitive edge that he will spread throughout whatever team he ends up on. I would be happy to see him in Bills blue for the right price (no more than our 2nd round pick).
  5. Let's not forget McNabb chose to attend and play for Syracuse.
  6. Let's see... only one game for sure, and that the Pats* at the Lions on Thanksgiving.
  7. Porter has racked up 26.5 sacks over the past two seasons. I'd take a flier on him. We only faced him once last year, and he had 2.5 sacks that day. And he had 4 the year before at our expense.
  8. Really? The Skins have Campbell and Grossman, and I woudn't call either decent. And you're calling Wallace and Delhomme decent? Wallace is the sole unknown in that lot, but the rest are not starting material. And, no, I do not think the Skins nor the Browns are in better condition QB-wise than the Bills.
  9. Any team with a decent QB knows who their starter is right now, new coach or not.
  10. If you were fooled into thinking a guy who was practically a rookie was going to come in and be great right off the bat, you could be fooled again. That said, Bell deserves some time and I think he is going to get it. I don't think the article is saying the Bills are doomed. Rather, he is simply saying that we do not have a legit starting QB on the roster. Who disagrees with that?
  11. The Lions would not qualify as an east coast team. And it may be worthwhile to note there are several east coast teams not there, including the rest of our division. That aside, I have to believe a lot more than geographical location has to be driving who is there and who is not. Every team employs scouts in every region. You were right the first time: there must be specific players each team is there for. Or, it could be that the decision makers for these NFL teams have a particular respect for the Appalachian State program.
  12. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2010/foot...ef=twitter_feed This should add plenty of fuel to the speculation about a trade or a early draft pick being a QB.
  13. He finished strong for the Ravens, taking down Brady for a sack and forced fumble in the playoffs. I live pretty close to Baltimore, and the Ravens fans really like this guy. He's only 28. They seem to think he is fully back from his spine fusion and has become a complete lineman. I think he is worth taking a chance on.
  14. A strike might be the market correction the Bills need to stay relevant. Of course, as a diehard football fan, I really do not want another strike. But...it might be in Buffalo's best interests.
  15. I like his Pic today: http://tweetphoto.com/13798316 Tells me he has the right idea.
  16. Starting two threads within a few minutes about the same thing is asinine. Just saying.
  17. Breaking News: Free agency lasts more than one day.
  18. I love when someone makes a post that gets unmercifully but justifiably flamed yet the original poster refuses to defend him/herself or even acknowledge the humor. Vick will not be an Eagle come July.
  19. Yep, and recruits should remember that in the future when considering Florida.
  20. "Five-Star Floyd" is going to be pisssssed! http://rutgers.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=1037814
  21. I thought the Florida Gators just hired him to be their DC.
  22. My family is keeping you in our prayers, spherical container of a fine adult beverage.
