  1. With Michael Matthews on the roster now, anything is possible.
  2. I don't want Rottenburger in a Bills uniform. I want Clausen. So I have been concerned how this whoel situation might affect the chances of Clausen falling to #9. Now, I am feel better, as Charles Robinson, a senior NFL writer for Yahoo! Sports, tweeted that Tomlin is very high on Dennis Dixon, and because of that, the Steelers would not draft Clausen. http://twitter.com/YahooSportsNFL/status/12587166135
  3. The Rochester D&C's Sal Maiorana tweeted the Bills are probably "too lame" to trade for Rottenburger.
  4. I worried it will be Clausen. The Steelers are going to need new franchise QB. But will they really be willing to hand the reins over to a rookie? They've got Leftwhich now, and he could be their guy for the year, I guess.
  5. Well, it is now being widely reported that the Steelers are being very active in looking for a trade partner. The worst thing that could happen to the Steelers now is if no one wants Rottenburger. As I have to image he's going to be unhappy with the franchise now.
  6. Rich Eisen tweeted that the Rams turned down the Steelers offering Rottenburger.
  7. Keep in mind Rottenburger hadn't been twice accused of sexual assault then and hadn't just been suspended by the league. Also, we should note the guys making the calls for the Bills then are not the guys making the calls now.
  8. How is this thread different than the one already going strong?
  9. Seriously? Have you seen the film on this guy? He was about to explode, but like you said, the Scheffler trade changed things. This is a clear case of the Lions doing us a big favor -- possibly a Detroit connection for Ralph.
  10. Uh, who would the Steelers be looking to take with that top-10 pick? If it is Clausen, I really hope this does not happen. They do not have a replacement waiting in the wings.
  11. I think I want the Bills to win a Super Bowl as bad as anyone, but I just don't think Rottenburger is good enough to hoist the Bills onto his shoulders and carry us to the promise land. When he's won, he's played well, but he has had the luxury of a dominate defense, a great running game, superb coaching and better than average offensive line.
  12. 1. I don't want him for moral reasons. 2. That price is too high. 3. That really limits who can make a move for him. 4. I hope the Niners make the deal, allowing Clausen to fall to us. 5. The fact that this story is out now is bad news for the Steelers' team chemistry.
  13. I saw this flying around Twitter: Note that the Steelers have five games that will be on national TV, but not one in the first six weeks. The first actually is in Week Eight.
  14. You think we can win two games next year? Hell yeah.
  15. I also remember Nix wasn't calling the shots and Gailey was no where near Buffalo.
  16. I do believe Johnnyfairplay was joking right back.
  17. Not two games. The reports are that it will be an NFL suspension of six games that could be reduced by two games down to four.
  18. I don't know...I think this changes the whole complexion of draft. It is no coincidence they waited until the eve of the draft to make this move.
  19. Maybe he'll be in Orchard Park for the big party.
  20. The Bills are coming back yet again for the first pre-season game of the year. Anything shaking?
  21. That would be outstanding. This is about the only way I will be happy if Thursday night ends without Clausen wearing a Bills hat. My only suggestion is that Cody would need to be picked @ #28 and Tebow might be there @ #41.
  22. I would be OK with those three additions. But I think it is unlikely Campbell will be available to us in the 2nd, and there is a decent chance Tebow will be off the board before we pick in the 3rd. And I think letting Clausen drop all the way down to 30 is entirely too far fetched. I have doubts as to whether the Bills will even have him as an option at #9.
  23. Shanahan said quite bluntly last night on ESPN that while he value's McNabb's opinion, the Skins have decided as an organization to not bring on TO. It was the only question to which Shanahan gave a real answer.
