  1. I'm certainly not saying he was suppose to say something different. He could have said a lot less though. Again, not saying he should have said less. But saying "that's my guy" is powerful.
  2. That's a tweet from Chris Brown. And it is terrible. Quote marks around words mean those exact words were said in that exact order. But those are not the exact words nor exact order.
  3. Sammy came out strong yesterday in support of EJ, saying EJ put in a lot of work and is indeed throwing the ball better, adding EJ has "been the complete leader." http://www.nfl.com/videos/buffalo-bills/0ap3000000485576/Watkins-Manuel-is-throwing-the-ball-better “That’s my guy,” Watkins said in his press conference yesterday. “I believe in him 100 percent." "I told him, 'I'm with you 100 percent, whether you're the starter or not.” How much do we read into this? Does this affect the competition? Does it affect anything else if EJ doesn't emerge as the starter? Interesting.
  4. Seems Shady is making himself at home! I am really happy on many levels to see he is doing this. Who is up for a night of fun for a cause in Rochester? It should be interesting to see who he gets together for the celebrity team. Bills' McCoy bringing celebrity softball to Rochester
  5. He deleted his tweet last night. Haha.
  6. They often make a couple alternate covers that are sold in select markets.
  7. I've worked security at a number of venues in the Mid Atlantic area, including in DC and in Philly. The worse fans, by far, are Philly fans. I mean at Redskins/Eagles games in Maryland, at Nationals-Phillies games in DC, at Caps/Flyers games in DC, at a Chargers/Eagles game in SoCal, at Wizard/76ers games in DC, at Eagles/anyone games in Philly, at a Kenny Chesney concert in Philly, etc., etc.
  8. Taylor and Kaepernick also worked out together last offseason. So I'm sure they're buds and Kaepernick has probably given him some pointers regarding Roman's offense. Cassel was the starter (until injuries) for 7 of his 10 NFL seasons. The three times he was a back up was because he was behind Tom Brady (two years) and then because he was injured twice (in '12 & '14) and both times his teams elected to stick with developing younger guys. I'd say it is fair to call him injury prone but not a career backup.
  9. We're doing FedEx, Arrowhead and Lincoln Financial. Maybe a trip to Nashville, too. Good tailgating in Maryland. KC will be wild. Philly will be Philly, meaning brutal. Cannot wait!
  10. You stated an opinion and a "fact". Your fact was false, and it appears NJJ disagrees with your opinion. The New York Post speculates this morning...
  11. No, I mean Ivory. He and Ridley are both power backs. I don't think there is room for two power backs in Gailey's offense. I agree, though, that Ivory is a hell of a player.
  12. Guessing he'll replace Chris Ivory. Plus, there is always a reason the Pats* didn't keep him.
  13. Thank you! I appreciate it. Being able to see the entire field and just being there is what's most important to us right now.
  14. Any insight from someone who has sat in Section 317 or any of the other upper-deck corners?
  15. No doubt about it! I'm happy to live close enough for the first time in nearly 20 years.
  16. I'm shopping for my first four season tickets. I'm surprised how few tickets are left. While I wish I had a better selection, this is a very good sign for the franchise. I think I will land in Section 313.
  17. The game used Matt Cassel as the starting QB. He made it through the season intact.
  18. Oh good, we can all look forward to your posts then. You might want to just root for the guy instead. I mean, presuming you're a Bills fan.
  19. I cannot figure out yet who they were using for the Bills QB. It appears Percy Harvin was the league and Super Bowl MVP. It was not run by Bills fans, and the Bills went in seeded 10th in the AFC. They had to beat the Steelers, Broncos, Pats* and Seahawks in the final four games.

  21. YAC = Morale killers = The Pats* recipe for overachieving
  22. Wow, we haven't seen that point made here before. Ever.
  23. So he's going to best his 1st Team All-Pro season? I'm looking forward to this.
  24. Having lived in Maryland the entire time Taylor was there, I have no idea what you could be talking about. Taylor has had no chance to prove nor disprove himself in the NFL yet. He had one quarter in which he was part of the game plan, and he was used solely as a gadget in that quarter. He killed it in preseason, and I suspect he will be in this upcoming QB competition right up until the end. He may even win it; although, I certainly don't see him as the favorite. If you're talking about his college career, he won the ACC in his senior season, beating Florida State (with EJ) and winning ACC offensive player of the year and conference MVP. He choked a bit at the combine and got royally screwed at his pro day.
  25. Hmm, a Pro Bowl QB who has lead his team to multiple playoff appearances. He won't get traded, and many teams would jump for him if he did become available.
